Have these fans forgotten how humiliating they were defeated on their home turf in last Word Cup?? Have the fans forgot how generous the global community & IOC were for tolerating Brazil's inept government for not being properly prepared for hosting the 2016 Games in the 1st place?

Nothing wrong with this, good on the Brazilians for booing the Russians. Such astonishing cheaters I'm impressed it's only boos. They are most definitely unwelcome guests

Well, they booed their own national soccer team so I guess no one is immune.

Sore losers, the lot of them. I'm glad in all of the cases they have been booing the opposing teams athletes while in competition said athletes won, particularly with the soccer match and the weightlifting; those athletes only proved all the more they can overcome pettiness and prevail in good spirit.
I think if Brazilian fans keep it up and it distracts from someone winning at a tense moment, as it could well have with the weightlifter, for example, the fans should all be removed from the stands, and if it continues Brazil be warned that if it is an event they are taking part in their athletes be eliminated. No nation host to such games should be involved in such pettiness. It's unlikely you'll see anything like this in Tokyo (unless it is with foreign fans), save perhaps in matches between Japan and South Korea or China. Even then it would be limited, I think.
Needless to say, any fans caught doing these should be barred from entering the Olympics area altogether.

. . . . Yes sir. Just goes to show that 3rd world mentality. . . wasn't expecting this from Brazilians. Thought they'd be, at least, a little grateful they were chosen to host the games. . . . despite the financial turmoil and unpreparedness.

It's how Brazilians roll , if you have ever played online video games you will know what taunting poor sports Brazilians can be. Not at all surprising. Definitely a cultural thing.

Cry me a river, kid.
