They definitely deserve bragging rights on this one. I think the women were set up to win some medals as well.

korea is very smart : they invest a lot of money into events with a small population of athletes, like archery. Japan should do the same if winning golds are so important.

Wow... someone's bitter! Archery has been around one HELL of a lot longer than baseball, and yet Japan insists on having it in the next Olympics with the smallest population in the sport's history, and solely so they actually have a chance at winning a medal. So, still going to stick to that argument? Besides, Japan had some decent archers in the mix, as did the Americans, but Korea just dominated. Period. And they were humble about it and even expressed surprise at the perfect score in one case.

And how about figure skaters? Didn't a Korean beat Japan's top skater a while back much to the chagrin of many here? So how is that investing all their money in sports with small populations? They have an athlete in the quarterfinals of Judo as we speak, and one woman got a silver to Japan's bronze in Judo. You telling me Judo is a sport with a small population Korea has invested heavily in and Japan has not?

Bitter bitter people.
