I'm using a card in99% of my purchases. I don't need a stinky moile wallet, with data stored on the smartphones of today.

I have seen videos of people using Apple Pay and it looks painful... I'll stick with my EDY/Mobile Suica. Instant payment, none of this selecting the card, waiting for fingerprint reader to verify my thumb etc. If somehow hackers manage to hack my felica chip, they can only use my maximum daily spend of 3000yen, but its only a few clicks to have it disabled.
I cant use it to buy a luxury watch, but for those purchases i dont mind getting my wallet out.

Mobile payment being faster... The times I have seen people use it, it's always been slower than just using your card and I have often witnessed technical issues. This will probably improve as the technology matures, but for now I'll stick to my plastic.
