More Recess Time leads to Better Budget Discussions (?)!

Hmmm...why do the chairs look like toasted bread? I know it's off subject but....

This caption must be wrong. It can not be "during" with all the empty seats! Must during lunch break or after or before!

Wish I could get paid big bucks sleeping at my work! Obviously he slept through the meeting and didn't wake up when everybody left. Helll, he's probably still there. LOL

haha again?

He is sleeping through everything. He probably slept through the Asian Currency Crisis, The bubble economy asset burst, the .com crash and the sub-prime crisis. Some finance minister. This is why japan is going down economically and financially. Malaise forever.

Thisis the exact same dude. Has someone been replacing the viagra with ambien agian??

Now I am sleepy, haha. I could use a nap myself.

omfg..so this is the kind of shameless dude running this country...Mmm-Hmm

The fact that he is sleeping is not as disturbing as the fact that no one else bothered to show up!

Wasn't Kan sleeping during the last big meeting as well, with Hatoyama with his head in his hands, and some other Minister staring at the ceiling?

No surprise the economy is in the crapper and being flushed down quickly.

Your taxes at work!!!!!

Or not......

Dreaming about Ginza hostess clubs.

The caption is incorrect. Kan got to the meeting early and rested until people started showing up.

why do the chairs look like toasted bread?

All the velour (velvet?) has worn off the backs from people sitting in them.

And I really have to question whether this was a meeting in progress or not. Politicians often doze off in session but that it usually during the boring parliamentary procedural bits.

suffering from Sleeping Sickness (nemuri-biyo?) !

I guess he is thinking about all those dollars being spent.

Japan government at it's best

Is there anyone in Japan, or the world by now, that does not realise yet that their politicians are a joke?

They are just in it for the money, they don't care about you and I...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

it must be tiring figuring out how to spend other people's money all day

Man i would love to be a politician.

No one is there. He is only there. The session probably doesn't start yet after quick lunch.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

He is in deep thought.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I wonder what he's dreaming about? Maybe the session ended and everybody left quietly so as not to wake him.

Ahhhhhhhh.....Maguro.....

Japan's finances are in safe hands..... No wonder the Chinese are poised to overtake Japan some time this year as the worlds number 2 economy!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

That's the second time in a week that he's been caught napping. This time, however, nobody else is around him like there was in the previous photo. I have to wonder if the meeting was really in session?

Thats a sick looking tie. He should juststay in his pajamas instead of having mommy dress him every morning.

nihon no 恥

fire his lazy a$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy probably doesn't get much sleep, considering his job and the state of the economy. I'll bet he's pulling some all-nighters and catches some shut-eye when he can.

Dream: "I'd rather be in Hawaii"

Yet another picture showing the incompetence of the DPJ. We need the LDP back, we need our public works contracts back. Giving money to the people for 'tuition' makes no sense. Give the money to the elite, where it belongs!

Good morning Mr. Naoto TSE is up and Yen is weakening on int'l market.

"Thats a sick looking tie"

Give the money to the elite, where it belongs!

hahahahaha, thanks for making my afternoon

Like I've posted before: if Kan and his co-DPJ Clowns are still in power in six months to a year, I will be stunned and otherwise amazed....
