Very funny. Is there a moment anywhere in the world when Japanese tourists aren't posing for photos at a popular destination?

I did the same thing when I was there.

I definitely would give a lout cheer when then place I traveled to half around the globe is reopening in time before my vacation ends, esp when it was never supposed to be closed!

I remember going there as a kid and thinking that it looked just like a postcard.

It should have never been closed.

That is one huge, beautiful park, I will definitely go there again as soon I can scrape together 150,000 yen and a week off.

It is a beautiful place...sequoia national park as well. There's a small lake up there in sequoia where you can go swimming in the summer. I recommend everyone go at least once.

Is the U.S. still open for business?

Nationsl parks in some states are allowed to open now. States complained that touristsw income were zero. State Park entrance fees tourist pays are zero.
