Models present lingerie maker Triumph's new concept "Branomics Bra" during its unveiling in Tokyo on Wednesday. Inspired by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's moves to stimulate inflation, dubbed "Abenomics," Triumph has created a bra that features a rising trendline and arrows as motifs and promises a 2% increase in volume with extra padding.

I'm sure some would argue these babes should head to a breast augmentation clinic to "stimulate inflation."

What are the targets for?

Does she really need a bra? (yes, I know, I'm an a-hole chauvinist - evil laugh)
some14some
heel size far exceeding proposed 2% target (!)
hatsoff
So like all politicians Triumph has padded the figures.

Well their hemlines certainly seem in line with a bullish outlook. See Hemline Index: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemline_index

Yes, and Yes! Thanks JT -you've made us all happy again!

The targets are off ;-)

I would have prefered a brainomic picture but this one will do in a pinch.

I think they could come up with a better set of figures (economically, of course).

Not busty by any means, but beautiful smiles and nice legs. Not sure what the tinfoil plates are meant to represent, and I'm not liking that from now on everything in Japan is going to have '-nomics' at the end, but there you go.

In this case, we could use some more inflation...

oh yes please!

These are bustier, not brassieres. If the girls sit down, those arrows attached to the front of the bustiers are going to poke their stomachs. I realize this is just a publicity stunt, but how does showing off these fake products help promote their REAL products?
HonestDictator
This pic is "meh" for me. At least they have nice looking skin. But then again, women are attractive period...
wtfjapan
well theres no chance of those arrows puncturing anything of importance!?

Love it! But I don't actually think serious debate was the intention of posting this picture. Just a guess. ;)

Naw. Triumph does this every year. They trot out a couple of models wearing some ridiculous "lingerie" for their publicity stunt. I remember a few years ago it was the "Cool Biz" bras with the built-in aquariums in the cups. The question I have is, if only the joke bras get coverage, how does this help their legitimate products?
JoiceRojo
who would've thought that Triumph needed publicity stunts like these? it is a very good brand...

The "plates" are pouches of some kind. You can see a zipper tab at the top left.

The company wrong models on show.

So instead of a "fanny pack" it's a... er... um... well you can fill it in with the word of your choice.

To stimulate the boobies to grow... Abe-san, ganbatte ne.
