The Japanese version of the polar bear swim!

I did the polar bear swim one year in Canada. It either took years off my life or added them. I'm not sure which, but I wouldn't do it again!

Ice swimming is popular all over the world around this time of year. Makes me shudder just to think about it.

'People?'There is, like, one woman in those pictures and she isn't wearing a loin cloth. All the other young girls in the country were thinking 'kimoi.' I'm with them.

I think she is one of the temple maidens, kinda like an alter boy in a Catholic church

As repellent as this sight is, it should inspire confidence in forty-somethings like myself who wince when looking in the mirror. I won't even wear shorts in public these days.
