Now that's what I'm talking about! Not that BS from the last fashion pic of the day.

SO much better than the pic of yesterday's fashion by the Vietnamese designer! Stunning and beautiful.

agreed! more dresses! less baklavas!
TakahiroDomingo
so truly beautiful! breathtaking, really
sakurala
Beautiful! I hope to get another kimono this year and would love something like this.
Aly: I want more baklavas! They are delicious :)

The runway distracts. It is not even spring once again.

I've always preferred yukata to kimono but that's a truly beautiful kimono.
Monozuki
Graceful movements in kimono. Beautiful!
mtuffizi
lovely kimono, also like the hair style and her movement.

Mickey Mouse hair style? The Obi and the Kimono should have different designs. What kind of walking is that?

Ooooh... Tina, I can't believe you're criticising something Japanese, lol
Seriously though, this is beautiful... yes the hair may be a little odd, but it doesn't take away from the stunning image.

Fantastic! Elegant and beautiful. Agree, miles better than that face-wrap Viet designer's carpet-look-alike wear.

@shonanbb - I completely agree ! The runway is a major distraction. The kimono is awesome !

Kimono. The slit with long pants reminds me of those traditional female clothes from Vietnam though.
tinawatanabe
Pants? No wonder the obi is a little coming down. So her hair is hinting the pants.

Notice the pigeon-toed walk...

Though exaggerated somewhat for the runway setting, it's the classic walk desirable for a kimono: toes pointing inward and smaller steps.
The kimono is lovely. The lack of contrast between obi and kimono creatively takes the look from traditional to modern. It also lengthens the visual line making the wearer look taller.
