Apparently it takes them 9 months or more to translate from English - Japanese. I know there are only a handful of qualified translators in Japan - but seriously - 9 months?

BurakuminDes - I think the distribution companies are the ones deciding all the release dates based on other movie showings, popularity, holidays etc.

Robin Hood came and left in the US and it kinda sucked.
