Chie Arimura, right, sets up her shot on the sixth green as a Singapore Airlines (SIA) passenger jet taxis past during the third round of HSBC Women's Champions golf tournament at Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore on Saturday.

Bet they'll both hit a birdie.

I guess there's no point in holding up those "QUIET" signs at this course...

I wonder how many golf balls wind up on the tarmac? That could be a dangerous thing.

Singapore is too small for land usage so that we can see the Singapore Airline plane tail next to the golf course. Chie Arimura has taken a lead in the 3rd round in HSBC golf women tournament.

If I recall correctly, Bangkok Int'l is also next to a golf course.

Certainly when they play internationals there, this is a fabulous advertisment for Singapore Airlines - one of the world's great airlines.

I flew Singapore Airlines once. Worst flight experience of my life.

@Alphaape: There are MANY golf courses next to airports: Bangkok, Calgary, Edmonton, Asheville, NC., Grand Rapids, Salt Lake City, DFW, Honolulu, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Monterey, CA., Long Beach, CA., Columbus, OH., Malaga, etc.
