South Korean President Park Geun-hye, right, and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, left, shake hands as Russian President Vladimir Putin, second right, watches while visiting an oceanarium on Russky Island where the Eastern Economic Forum took place in Russian Far Eastern port of Vladivostok, Russia, Saturday.

Thanks for the right-left info - they do look so similar.

A photo that Xi Jing Ping would not like at all. Including Vlad's smirk.

It seems that S Korea, Russia, Japan would never get along each other.

It's the irony of the headline that blows me away.

Actually all three ARE getting along. Reason being that none of them are doing anything that is seen as destabilizing the region.

Hah, I laughed.

But to be fair, a lot of non-Japanese wouldn't know who they are, and also wouldn't be able to identify either Shinzo as a male's name, nor Geun-hye as a female's name, so having the descriptions would be beneficial to those.

That's the friendliest I've seen Park look towards Abe.

"Vlad's smirk"

That's a smirk? Jeez...

"Russky Island"

Must be Russkies live there.

Shouldn't do that. China won't like it

This photo could become historical. After President Trump walks away from next year's US-Japan SOFA agreement negotiations, the US military will exit Japan. What then will happen?

...and Abe won't like it when he sees Xi and Obama handshaking after ratifying the Paris agreement.

I think Xi has better things to occupy his mind with. He, along with the rest of us, knows those smiles are just for photo-ops. As for Putin and Abe's little party - I'm assuming America gave prior permission to Abe.

At least she is smiling and cordial this time, unlike before when she looked like she could kill with her look.

The look on Putin's face tells another story. He knows he is going to have Abe's pants down and is enjoying the moment.
