doesn't it prove Japan was the most developed Asian country ?
ElJeffeEnJapon
No, just that firefighters can climb bamboo ladders.

They are just amazing. I wished I had seen it in Tokyo.

no ? you shud say yes considering Japan had firefighter during EDO period while other Asian countries didn't know anything about firefighter.

Wouldn't they need some kind of fire for a real "review"?...oh, I see, thats not the point, the point is to "show off"!

Did their phones work? Or did the system shut down?

Cool, so the Japanese invented pole dancing! I expect the guy on the far right to get a lot of tips.

Is that them fighting fires? Or are they just trying to get away from the rising flames? Not A hose in sight!

I often find it best to fight fire while upside down, it really gives me a better understanding of the whole process.

The ladders were used to spot the location of the fire. And firefighters back then didn’t have any hoses so they basically sledgehammered all the neighboring houses to stop fire from spreading..

That's quite a leap in logic there. Did it make you as dizzy as the guy upside down on the ladder?
