Maybe China will attack us side by side with their Russian "friends".

A cancellation between of meeting between both countries was definately good for regional peace, the more talks between their servicemen will kicks off more war talks at the end! Japan has no sincrelly to talk peace with any neighbouring countries, the higher tension in asia the better political status for Japan in the US/JapanS Korea alliance, so these talks was just a trick , a deception to others!. China does welcome some foreign military delegations like Russia, israel...etc. But Japan is an exception, the Japanese SDF were run by rightists anyway!

just-a-bigguy, why should Japan trust the Peoples Republic of China?

China always appears to be demanding others agree with their opinion, yet China has no regard for other countries' concerns or sovereignty.

So, I wonder why Japan agreed to the meeting in the first place and who asked for the meeting.

Ok China just have your little tantrum.

This is soo funny!

The disputed islands are uninhabited yes? so why would China and Japan even bother about them seriously! As for the Uighur thing I think China would be angry if we held them in the UK (So that is a silly tantrum!)

Who cares what these two countries do. Japan can spend all they like (and throw money down the drains) and China can find business opportunities and spend tourist money elsewhere. Win-win for both.

The best bet is to ignore China.Definitely a waste of time!

@YuriOtani: Of course Japan doesnt btrust China and indeed no Chinese trust Japan! The Chinese military doesnt wants to care whatever the images of China in japanese views, what she wants is a matter of respects! Especially when Chinese naval vessels sailing around Senkaku isles, those japanese planes, ships better staying a further distance and stop stalking otherwise the consequences will be 'awesome'!

@viking68: China has no regard for other countries' concerns or sovereignty. Japan smells oil in 1969 around the isles was their declaration of sovereignity! That is thefting!

REALLY!!!! Yuri, you still pumping up your 9-5 defence forces. Come on seriously the only thing putting any backbone in your defence force is the presence of the US military. You know it everyone knows it. You are not the IJN anymore you are a weak hamstrung token force.

@Cletus... While I agree with your comment 110%, it would be rather hard for Yuri to continue to tow the Anti-U.S. line, and at the same time, admit that they needed us, at the same time.... (We all know The U.S. Military is the root of ALL Japan's problems, both Foreign and Domestic, nor in the history of the world has a more evil country ever existed, than America.... LOL....) But don't take my word for it, just ask Yuri... lol...

Ch1n4Sailor, just because I disagree with some of the policies of the USA, it does not make me anti-American. My position is complex and not easy to understand. I trained with the Americans to fend off Chinese and Russian aggression. Anyhow I am actually harder on the Japanese government vs the American one.

The best possible outcome would be for China to put away foolish desires to control Asia. They have lots of problems at home that need to be addressed before launching a new war.
