"The fact that China’s military unilaterally announced something clearly different from the facts is extremely regrettable..."

The 'facts', eh, Suga? Something Japan is not at all qualified to argue on, sorry. It's regrettable, but it's a fact. China suffers from the same problem, of course, but Japan protesting and saying China is disputing fact is kind of laughable.

Smith in Japan

Facts aren't something Japan can debate with another? Do you deem your own home country worthy of such an honor?

It sounds like Japan isn't protesting against any "facts", they're protesting what is claimed to be lies, or extreme exaggerations, by China. Poorly written article and, in this case, I think China probably did exaggerate more than usual, if that's possible.

China is a fast learner. Sounds like they have learnt from Trump that if you spout half truths or even blatant lies first, and loudly enough, your supporters will always believe you. Unless (or sometimes even if) the other side can disprove you beyond all doubt then you win.

SmithinJapan, sometimes I wonder where does your logic goes. It's been like 6 years now talking nosense. JSDF is professional, unlike Chinese PLA

China created the science, wrote the book, and perfected the art. Trump is simply a participant in a game they've been playing for centuries.

At least I have some. You don't think there's a connection between the Fukushima meltdown and cancer.
