Japan says its active investment is a source of U.S.-Japan vitality

TOKYO —

Japan’s top government spokesman said on Thursday that its active trade investment in the United States was a source of “vitality” in the economic relationship between the two nations.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga also told reporters Americans recognised that Japanese firms were good corporate citizens in the United States.

In a news conference, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump mentioned Japan and other countries as having large trade imbalances with the United States.

Suga said that the government was analysing Trump’s comments and that it wanted to develop Japan’s economic relationship with the United States further.

The 1%er Americans just don't like that Americans love to buy Japanese products (domestically made or made in Japan), and all the profits go to Japan rather than to them. That's all. And I'm sure that the 1%ers have Trump's ear.

Japan is a one way street, only their way. We invest in your country with our companies, we take your money and send to Japan, japan pays no income taxes as they claim foreign company tax exempt, Japan builds their factories with US tax dollars from the states just to get the jobs at a worker expense for the taxes and poverty wages in southern states. But when a USA factory tries to come to Japan they are denied and prevented and act all isolationist selfish and greedy. Whats good for Japan is denied to all other nations.

    What, third biggest economy?

    Or perhaps America's lapdog?

    China: No, thank you.

So laughable, when everyone realized the fat guy was going to be president, Abe raced across the Pacific to start kowtowing.

You can laugh. But you don't know the situation in Japan. Japan is facing a military threat from China, around Senkaku island and Okinawa. Okinawa governor's plan to tie with China friendly failed, and he asked Abe for help. Japan doesn't want to arm itself because they don't want to be a threat to Asian neighbors after WW2. So only option is to stand side by America and be a strong alley.
