Politicians all do what they think favors their countries. I suppose Merkel, too does that. In my opinion, there is no doubt Japan is now trying to devalue the yen, all in favor of easier exporting. No surprise. More of the same...

“Japan has no intention whatsoever” of devaluing the yen, said Takehiko Nakao, Tokyo’s top financial diplomat, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Thursday.

This statement is ridiculous. At least stand by what your bosses have said before...

the yen has been massively overvalued for the last 4 years. Its gained alittle, but its still undervalued.
