@JoeBigs: You forgot to mention that the same Stalin who was in leauge with Hitler for a short time was also the supporter of Un's grandfather. So if anyone is more aligned with Hitler it would be NK and Un, since the entire regime is based on a model implented by his grandfather and the influence from Stalin and the Communists who were as you mentioned at one time allies with Hitler. But so was Japan too.

I think NK and Un need to focus more on what's going on at home and not worry about Japan.

The treaty between the Soviet Union and Japan was signed in Moscow on April 13, 1941, while the Soviet Union and Germany were still kissing and not after Operation Barbarossa. Operation Barbarossa began in June of 1941.

So you are wrong and the Soviets were firmly siding with Germany and their axis for the coming war.

People forget that Japan was once in pretty much the same position as North Korea - isolation wise. Between 1639 to 1853 (when it was forcibly re-opened by the US) Japan shut itself off from the outside world, with the exception of some trade with Holland and China via Nagasaki. Any Japanese who tried to leave were killed, any Japanese who were abroad before 1639 werent permitted to return. Any foreigners who entered illegally were also killed. In a way this long period of isolation, in some ways similar to North Korea now, explains the "us" and "them" mentality so prevalent among many Japanese. (ie) You cant understand our culture or thinking because you aren`t Japanese. This thinking has manifested itself in Abe, and why he deserves the title of "Asian Hitler"

Fantastic work, now we know you can copy and paste, but the real question is not who Hitler was, the real question should be how and who helped to formulate his ideas?

That is like saying that if Hitler were Hitler, he would have invaded Poland in 1935 instead of 1939. Hitler only began serving as chancellor from late 1932 you see. This is Abe's second year as PM, including his previous stint as PM. I would suggest giving the man time to prove his desire for war, only, I don't war. I want Abe out as soon as possible.

I am a little bewildered that so many have rushed to Abe's defense just because of an editorial in a North Korean propaganda rag. But of course, some people only read headlines. And then what happens is that they see the name "Hitler", think what Hitler means to them personally, then strawman the topic to death by putting words in others' mouths and propaganda rags.

We have increased arms spending, a new government secrecy law, stated desires to change article 9 of the constitution, and repeated denials that Japan did anything wrong during WWII complete with in-your-face Yasukuni visits.
