Cahill factor haunts Japan in Australia World Cup qualifier showdown

In a sports bar (the only one we could fit into) in Kyoto in mid 2006, up until near the end of the second half as a despondent Australian. Then Cahill's one-two, trying to less Australian though far from despondent while all the people around me suddenly were.

@ inkochi - great memories! Probably one of my favourite times in Japan, it was a crazy game that one in Kaiserslautern. Emotional rollercoaster. Amazing to think Timmy is still being called upon 10 years later - proof that age is just a number if you look after yourself, and have luck with injuries etc. Always a great but friendly rivalry between Aus and Japan!
