Whilst the riders cycled through Chantilly, the traditional route for the jersey winners to share champagne, in a Tour dominated by British riders and teams (Froome, Yates, Cavendish, Sky), the commentary mentioned how the chateau hotel costs an astonishing and very exclusive GBP500 per night. They then recalled that the failed England football team used the hotel as their base for Euro 2016. Enough said about comparisons between English cycling and English football.
