Nagano Marathon ends without incident

It's sad that the main news about the marathon is that there was no incident instead of the celebration about the event itself, but that's today's world, I guess. I hope all of those involved reached their goals and enjoyed the time.

What did they expect would happen ?

No mention of them having a moment`s silence for the tragedy that happened in Boston, just the usual, "We were able to hold ours safely", comment.

Reporters dredging the bottom of the barrel here, why would a random act of violence in America with the perpetrators incapacitated logically pose a risk to a sports event in Nagano? News flash "127 million in Japan not killed by terrorists yesterday" Man this is easy. Keep it up AFP.
