Women's ski jump World Cup event in Japan called off

Zao is a beautiful ski resort, but the weather there is notoriously unpredictable. They took a chance with that.

Not much you can do. The wind has been crazy the past week, although in this area not to bad today and yesterday. Thursday I nearly got blown off my bicycle and it was hell going against a headwind with a windchill below zero.
