It'll be interesting to see how this works. For example, I know more than a few people that would gladly say I'm reporting "fake news" when I post a link of the comfort statue being unveiled in Sydney merely in an attempt to have the post removed. But of course, it is fact.

Can we click the one about Trump winning the electoral college? That has to be fake, surely.

And that's not all ...

Facebook to Label ‘Fake News’ with Help of Partisan ‘Fact Checkers’ - 15 Dec 2016

Facebook has announced it will introduce warning labels on stories they deem to be “fake news,” with the help of partisan “fact checking” organisations such as Snopes and PolitiFact. ... Business Insider reports that these organisations will include the likes of Snopes, ABC, Politifact, and FactCheck.org, all of which have records of left-wing partisanship — particularly throughout the 2016 election. ...

And turbosat... the fact you put a breitbart link is precisely why this is needed..

If the result doesn't suit you it must be partisan right...

NZ2011 - And turbosat... the fact you put a breitbart link is precisely why this is needed.. If the result doesn't suit you it must be partisan right...

Apparently you can't address the content at the BBN link ...

And if the fact-checkers fake their fact-checks by leaving out key points or just simply faking, how is it partisan to point it out?

Sure, if someone can show thats incorrect it should be corrected.

The open boarders one, though clearly one is talking about economics and the other immigration.

Warheads, don't know.

The email one, that seems silly I admit.. what a bunch of nonsense in the first place.

I don't want to get involved in a Tu quoque, but.. I mean millions of illegal votes says the guy that will run that country, no evidence whatsoever.. in-fact the only case I believe to be confirm was in his favour....

I don't care if Im wrong, some times its good to be and change your perspective, but we are heading into a time where people seem to think they can just make things up and no be called out for it..

So then, "news" about how certain individuals "believe" certain unnamed sources may indicate that certain parties may have exerted some influence, without having presented any verifiable facts would be labeled fake news, right?

Heh, if Breitbart has a problem with it, it almost definitely means it's a good thing.

Let's see, since the "third-party" fact-checkers thus far named have clearly been in the tank for the leftards we should give them a pass and trust them to be henceforth unbiased? Ludicrous.

if Breitbart has a problem with it,

Therein lies the problem. Instead of actually owning up to how out of touch the left has gotten with people, they resort to actually blaming so called fake news not realizing the msm credibility had already sailed. Everything else is straw clutching.

Most news is fine. Sure there is bias, but left-wing media, unlike Breitbart and Fox "News", are not full of rage and lies.

You guys just hate it that the news is biased against your discrimination. And you know what, I'm ok with that. If someone is angry because we don't let them be discriminatory, then I'm entirely ok with their anger.

Stuff that is blatantly conspiracy theories should indeed be removed though I am skeptical of "fact checkers" and them bieing unbiased, tough Breitbart is a blantantly populist and discriminatory.

What smithinjapan said. Basically people will be voting on the news according to their disposition towards that path host story.
