I had the S6 Edge, and it had tons of bloatware running in the background draining the battery for stuff I never saw or used. But the most annoying thing was the edge. When holding the phone (and I have girly hands) while playing video games, it would often accidentally pause, very irritating

Stop with the monstersizing of phones. The two size options arent even that far apart - its a choice of massive or just a bit more massive. The S6 (non-edge) is the biggest i want to go for a phone; they didnt offer the S7 non-edge here, so i skipped that model. Now the S8 is bigger than the S7 Edge.

Time to switch to another phone manufacturer (one who understands that not all people have bad eyes and huge hands, like Sony or Sharp)

I got rid of my S6 edge three months before the end of the contract, and picked up an HTC 10. My very first smafo was an HTC Butterfly J, then I switched to the S6, I will never buy another Samsung phone.

I hate the edge models, was really POed they only offered the edge version of 7, so I skipped this model, now it's totally gone. I get it, they want to make something cool, but like sensei258 says it's easy to press the side of the screen and the phone is slippery as all hell.

With that said, I need a new phone and I can't stand the extreme bloatware on Japanese phones. Yes Samsung has it as well, but it's not as bad as others I've seen, at least you can semi disable most of on Samsung.

An optional docking station will turn the S8 phone into a desktop computer when connected to a regular TV. In that mode, people will be able to resize windows and work with several apps at once. It’s similar to what Microsoft offers on its Windows 10 phones.

But will it work with mouse and keyboard as well?

Whatever Samsung, you lied, you cheated, it caught fire many times and now you want us to PAY EVEN MORE FOR LESS? I don't trust you Samsung!

S8 might turn out to be a good phone but I'll just stick with my old one (S4) till it breaks. Just don't see the point of upgrading. When it does the job it does the job. I used to want the very latest one but not anymore. As for AI assistant - no thanks.

Love my Note 5 and S7 Edge.

S7 Edge battery lasts way over a day.
