A stupid, but expected move. TSMC is falling way behind even Samsung, with huge issues that nearly sent it's three major buyers (nvidia, amd, and qualcomm) to other companies due to 28nm problems. And with Intel already making 22nm tech in massive numbers, kind of makes you think why they didn't bother to go with intel over a shoddy chinese company other than no care for quality and only looking as profit margins.

I never knew how many false, deceptive, and just plain stupid statements could be said in one article. The entire article is just so horribly wrong. Try checking up on all the points said and you'll see there is not one part the author got right. From talking about silicon ingot prices (as opposed to monocrystal silicon wafers), to how costs are calculated, to just what the hell these chips were, he got zero points correct!
