Cathay Pacific launches 5-day New Year sale from Japan

Cathay Pacific Airways on Wednesday launched its New Year Special Apex Sale for five days until Jan 20. The campaign offers passengers fares between Japan and Hong Kong for 20,000 yen (excluding tax and fuel surcharge), Japan and Taipei for 18,000 yen and Japan and Southeast Asia for 25,000 yen.

The New Year Special Apex Sale is applicable to flights on Cathay Pacific and its sister airline, Dragonair, departing Japan between Jan 21 and March 31, regardless of city of departure. The sale does not apply to flights departing Feb 7-12 (because of the Chinese New Year).

Cathay Pacific and Dragonair currently operate 120 flights each week between Japan and Hong Kong, departing from Tokyo (both Haneda and Narita), Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Okinawa.
