Imperial Hotel limos offer new Wi-Fi LAN routers with high security

Guests using Imperial Hotel limos to get to and from the landmark hotel in central Tokyo between Narita or Haneda airports can now take advantage of new Wi-Fi routers and an ultra-secure password in their private cars, at no charge for connections.

The service has been introduced by the Imperial Hotel to provide its executive guests with the opportunity to take full advantage of valuable time in transit for speedy and secure internet communications, and to help offset data transmission charges.

The "Smart Hire LAN" can be used in all major areas around metropolitan Tokyo and assures Imperial Hotel guests of maximum security. Guests are provided with their exclusive, private password when being met and once set will allow internet access and transmissions. The password is voided after the guest has departed. Maximum sending speed is 12.5 Mbps, while best effort reception speed is 37Mbps.

For reservations for limousine or other vehicle or van services at the Imperial Hotel, call 03-3580-9326.
