How many times have I heard that a vehicle didn't stop and so was fired on? What, do they wait until the vehicle is with 15 meters, yell stop, and then when it does not stop in .02 seconds they open fire???

Amazing, no mention of the US here. Gasp so other countries militaries DO make mistakes! Well, thats what happens when groups are in a heavy firefight and some unknown cars zoom in without stopping when asked.

It's all part of the "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality of German soldiers.

I'm pretty sure the first warnings are generally given when the vehicle is a few hundred feet out if it proceeds I wouldn't hesitate to light it up either. A car full of mortar shells could kill everyone in the immediate area and I'd rather be safe than dead. The loss is regrettable but I can understand why they did it.

It's all part of the "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality of German soldiers. Very poorly trained overall.
