Bring all US troops back home.

Often in this century the first "enemy" our military forces have to face is our politicians (and chattering class) who don't know what they're doing, or where it all will go. If we really have a justifiable purpose in Syria, then we should be allied with the Russians just as much as we are allied with the Kurds, and Turkey's Erdogan should be told, in no uncertain terms, to stand down. In the 21st century, the United States, and the West, would be far better off strategically if the US and Russia were working together as full and mutually respected partners in a formal working alliance.

The terrorists (moderates) in Syria are giving up and the US continues to give external support to their failing efforts. A slap in the face to the unified people and Gov of Syria.

Adding 200 more troops to Syria, U.S. deepens involvement

Obama got elected president by promising to end W's wars. He leaves office with both wars still ongoing plus a disastrous mini-war with Libya and now a creeping Vietnam-style intervention in Syria. Notice the complete silence from the American press. Notice that the American Left is not marching in the streets over another military intervention in the Middle East. The ridiculous lack of even handedness is how a reality TV star gets elected president. Blame the extremist Lefty's and the mainstream American press.
