in Australia we have a warning system called erwin its an emergency weather alert the maximum warning was sent out to all those registered with the early weather alert system its free to all. The catastrophic level is the highest level but some fools still lit fires any person doing this needs a long term in jail. The High temperatures are not the main source of fires, most are human created and the havoc created is because everything dries out putting a explosive vapour in the air from plant oils being evaporated into the air . One small spark can ignite a massive big treetop high flash of fire that causes massive areas of fire to spread once at these temperatures all fires are very difficult to contain.
