Mental instability is the cause in a majority of these kinds of attacks, not the weapon used. Maybe next time someone decides to use a chainsaw, baseball bat, or any other potentially lethal device. People need to wake up and recognize that mental healthcare is severely lacking in many countries around the world and innocent people are paying the price because these people are not being identified and properly treated for their issues.

If you watch the video he only slashes at their arms like once or twice and then leaves them alone. Quite frankly I don't think he really had the desire to kill but to just harm them because if he really wanted to kill why would he just slash at their arms and then leave them alone, why isn't he stopping grabbing the kid and then just stab them in the torso or even the neck, but you can bet those kids were rightfully terrified out of their minds I know I would be. Watching the girl run through the gate only to have him come up behind and then slash at her arms while she sat there man is that terrifying. I was basically on the edge of my seat, I didn't want to look to see what would happen next.

Within a few minutes, 100 or more person can be killed easily. If the killer used revolver, he could kill only 6 person because he needs to reload every 6 bullets have been used. That reloading a few seconds is critical point for someone Life and Death.

Difference between Knives and Guns is Speed. Guns have lightening speed. Knives do not have. Knives can be blunt too. Guns can be jammed however it is rare. If the killer Gun got Jammed, it was a winning lottery for victims.

Agreed, but I still believe that you can inflict a devastating wound with a knife that you can't recover from very quickly, such as a slash to the jugular vein in the neck. I think people under estimate the power of a knife if the attacker knows how to wield one.

What is a telescopic reload system? I have never heard of a gun that can reload with a telescopic system. Can you provide an example.

Killing with a knife is very up close and personal which makes it much harder to do.

In this specific case I would disagree that it would be difficult for him to kill with a knife.

I believe the killer's gun did jam but he cleared it and continued killing.

The mall shooter only killed two people correct? If I'm not mistaken the gun jammed after he killed those two people.
