This is not the first time Chinese citizens have reported complex opinions in polls. It's important to remember that the government's position is not always that of the people.

I know the U.S. is far from perfect, but isn't the thought of a trio like Xi Jinping, Putin and Duterte together kind of like a Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini reunion?

After all his speeches about American exceptionalism and after his wars, Obama in company with Cameron and the Saudi king really look like the Axis powers, circa 1943-44.

How many countries have Obama and Cameron annexed during their terms? I can't think of any, but the same is not true for Jinping and Putin.

And the only difference between Obama's "America uber alles" and Hitler's "Deutschland uber alles" is the name of the country.

That's not true, we want good worthy economic competitors that help move humanity forward towards a bright future. Not un-democratic, imperialistic competitors that will suppress it.
