What is the recommendation from China Media..........more Chinese.....?

Good luck with this idea: “A new world order should be put in place, according to which all nations, big or small, poor or rich, can have their key interests respected and protected on an equal footing.”

This would have to result in a new United Nations setup. And we presently see how such a world-wide organization works. What China is suggesting is disorganization at its best. Even China could not lead such a group of disorganized nations.

Nothing new in criticism of the IMF. Undemocratic, working in the interests of the rich countries, imposing conditions unsuited to developing countries, supporting dictatorships, the US veto etc...most people agree with these criticisms. Perhaps it's worth remembering that China has benefitted from countries turning up their noses at the IMF and going to China for loans. The US debacle gives the CCP all the ammunition it needs not for constructive criticism but for what it does best - self-delighting and gloating. The Chinese media are performing the biggest victory roll since the Snowden business.

It may sound like conspiracy but I always feel China is up to something. New world order they say, where we heard that before?

I think they are considering of eliminating US economy as well others like Japan while making sure their own economy is not heavily damaged. China's transformation from export oriented into a more domestic oriented in coming years would reduce such damage and allowing them to have better influence in the region as more would depend on their economy.

After all with such huge market, resources as well being a world manufacturer not mentioning having such tight rule while innovation and creativity on its way, it is among others the most likely to tank such impact and rebuild itself faster during the crisis. It would be ridiculous to say China has never think what would happened if the US economy collapses.

Seems you missed the following important paragraph of this article : “A new world order should be put in place, according to which all nations, big or small, poor or rich, can have their key interests respected and protected on an equal footing.”

Well, they are not entirely wrong, although I don't think China has any right to talk about 'hypocrisy' seriously.

Mere grandstanding as the Chinese revel in the mess orchestrated by the Tea Party domestic terrorists.

My money is on China imploding under its own hypocrite long before the US.

“A new world order should be put in place, according to which all nations, big or small, poor or rich, can have their key interests respected and protected on an equal footing.”

This from a nation that sits on the UN security council and has the power to veto the world. Is China willing to give up that power?

I am all for a de-Americanized world, but not at the cost of having a Chinafied world in its place! Not that i think a Chinafied world be all that much worse, but the change over would be such hell.

As an American I would want less US military presence in the world.

But keep in mind when a disaster hits anywhere in the world what nation offers or provides first class First Responders, top notch Search and Rescue teams, equipment, technology, and finances to help out.

Switzerland?

Not denying Swiss. Another efficient and capable nation. The USA does in mass personnel. And in the end USA provides lasting volunteer Medical personnel and private monetary donations from across the USA.

That's so credible. Just like the CCP promise that the Chinese people would have elections and voting rights soon after the PRC was created. They waited so long they've forgotten. Seems like this article (Chinese govt backed media) is suggesting that a non-elected dictatorship is much better than a democracy where you can have situations like the current one in he U.S.

How about starting with a "De-Obamacized" world and see how that works out. I don't think most nations other than the Chinese and a few crazies like the North Koreans and Cuba would like to see China as the dominant world power.

Yes, the de-Americanizing can start with stopping all the foreign aid.

Well it's no secret, unfortunately America has been self-destructing since the Bush administration, and it's only going to get worse. And it's taking down everyone with it.

America started financially self-destructing decades before the Bush administration.
