Erdogan says Turkey will review EU ties after April referendum

Will be a huge relief for the EU if Turkey decides it no longer wants to join.

I think economic ties should be linked to political and administrative ties. If the crook Erdogan thinks he can make threats without penalty then suspending Turkey's membership of the EU customs union should be an option. It's time crooked Erdogan was taught some manners.

For years we have been trying to figure out a polite way to tell Turkey to p.ss off. Finally it has paid off and they are voluntarily distancing from the EU. I doubt there are people (except maybe Turkish immigrants) who are worried that Turkey might now join the EU. Everyone's like "please don't join"
