I predict shoes and bras will be thrown.

If it's scripted, there'll be many pauses, as he's told what to say, through his earpiece. If it's off the cuff, he'll veer off topic, talk about how biglly he won the election, how good he is as president, slag of Hillary, and harp on about the media being fake and wrong (all in words of few syllables).

Basically be his usual big orange bag of guff.

Trump speech bingo:

Fake | Media | Mexico

Beautiful | News | Muslim

Wall | Unfair | Lie

Row, column or diagonal and you win a Constitution coloring book.

So far he's been keeping a lot of his promises as long as he continues to do so, he will be ok. Could care less how he talks, it's more important what he does.

will decorum hold?

The answer is yes. He has been saying the exact same thing over the last 10 years.

@Yakyak - This is an interesting point you bring up. There is now a documentary out called "Trumped" which documents the primaries and election. Within this documentary there are interviews with Trump from the 80's and 90's. He has actually been saying the same thing for over 30 years.

He is not qualified to be President but he has been consistent (whether folks like him or not). I would recommend the documentary to all of both sides who post on these message boards.

I believe he was saying the same at the time he was invited to Chelsea Clinton's wedding and when he invited the Clinton's to one of his weddings.

I believe now the U.S. is divided beyond repair and it is something that has been going on gradually for decades, accelerated the last 10 years, and final nails will be driven in the coffin over the next 4-8 years.

Regardless of whether he'll be able to hold it together, he likely won't be in a good mood. This is not CPAC - even the GOP Congress is souring on his lack of guidance and constantly shifting, mutually incompatible priorities.

Worse, news is that his administration has contacted not only the FBI but also intelligence services to seek their help in batting down stories of his Russia connections. Rep. Darrell Issa is as oily as they come (he made his fortune selling used cars in San Diego), but he does have an uncanny ability to detect shifting winds. He called yesterday for a special prosecutor to look into these ties, implying that Trump's AG Jeff Sessions is too closely connected to Trump to be trusted with the matter.

The walls are closing in.

The wall? Killing ObamaCare? Arresting Hillary? Having millions arrested for voter fraud? Mass deportations? Other broken promises? Muslim ban? He has broken ALL his promises.

And Bill and Hillary really liked him back then. I think they still do. (Secretly)

The walls are closing in.

Let me guess - it's been a month and the Dems want impeachment. The walls have already closed in around the Left's total war mindset. Pop up some more popcorn, it just keeps getting better all the time.

President Trump has not done any of his promises. The TPP has the only backing from the Senate of his promises and is not law yet. So No, he has not done what he has promised. Until it is law President Trump can,t claim anything. What he has done is stay with the status quo with foreign policy, and made enemies with Countries like Mexico and China. Great start. I wonder if Pence realise that he sign on has Trump interpreter when he was ask to be his running partner. What Pence say after a President Trump statement seem nothing like the position one has assume President is taking. So I see his address to Congress will be timid.

Indeed.... it's important what he does regardless of whether he shuts down all alternate voices as day by day he moves the US towards a petty dictatorship.... so long as he's giving it to the "liberals" it doesn't what he does and what liberal democratic processes he trashes...

Chicken-in-chief runs away from the press (again):

US President Donald Trump has announced he will not attend the White House Correspondents' Association dinner on 29 April.

Trump and decorum don't mix.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

He'll probably drop a few blatant lies to get a reaction of of the Dems, then he will go on a rampage at how mean they are, then he will use that to propose something drastic. Or maybe he will generate some fake news then go on a tirade about fake news in the media.

Whatever happens will come with a heaping dose of hypocrisy. Now that that's been established, I'd like to compare it to past presidents.

I hope the Democrat Senators and Congressmen moon him en masse.

Killing ObamaCare?

I hope so.

Canceled TPP, rolled back regulations, getting ready to start on the wall, started to get the ball rolling on lowering taxes, getting aggressive by kicking out criminal illegal aliens, getting keystone pipe approved, going to reinstate the ban next week and more... So all in all, he's doing very well.

He can made speeches to the congress through twitter, infact he dont need to attend there. And the congress people will clapping their hands through twitter in response.

"will decorum hold?"

I hope not! Of course not, Trump will be Trump. Yea!

Yeah, amazing that your guy has served up that kind of a month. Really amazing. Beggars belief. So far the most incompetent, unpopular, dishonest, divisive start to any modern presidency. Bravo, underperforming even wildest expectations with a bar that had been set at basement level!

I suspect that there's a good chance the metaphorical dagger that ends this will come from within the so-called president's own ranks.

hope the Democrat Senators and Congressmen moon him en masse

In this post PC era Trump isn't owed any more respect than the GOP showed Obama during his 2 terms. Stony silence would be best. Maybe... one guy to yell "You lie" every time he does.
