"A Palestinian woman in the West Bank city of Ramallah waves the Hamas flag during a rally"

But she's a civilian, so it would be a war crime if she was killed in any fighting.

    Steric Hindrance

Israel is frustrated and concerned over Abbas’s intention to put the Palestinian bid to the U.N. General Assembly on November 29, which is expected to pass with ease despite vigorous opposition from the United States. ...Israel is contemplating retaliating with punitive actions ranging from suspending the transfer of tax and tariff funds it collects for the Palestinians to “toppling” Abbas’s regime, as a foreign ministry policy paper proposed last week.

Seems Israel is continuing to deny the existence of Palestine.

Israel says the bid is a breach of the 1993 Oslo Accords, intended to pave the way for a full resolution of the conflict creating in the interim the Palestinian Authority, which was to govern parts of the West Bank and Gaza until a final deal.

Palestine is going directly to the UN because Israel has long been breaching the Oslo Accords. In this video (, you can hear Bibi, not aware he was being filmed, boasting about how he derailed the Oslo Accords. He also explains how the only way to deal with the Palestinians is to beat them up repeatedly, until it becomes unbearable. That is what he said a decade ago, and last week we all saw that he meant it.

Is condemnation really surprising? It is obvious Abbas would support Gaza.
