I hope nobody is naive enough to believe her.

Get elected first. Make sure your father is comfortable in jail. Situation will change.

If Fujimori is elected, stand by for an amnesty for criminals to spring daddy. She wouldn't have the nerve to spring him alone, so she'll spring lots of others. Here's hoping daddy stays where he deserves, and Peru gets a fit leader with real policies, and clean hands.

Peruvian voters seem to have a short mind. Don't they know what Fujimori symbolizes? Jeez!

Peru is a real egalitarian society. Here is a descendant of a then " nanmin" vying for presidency, in the footsteps of her dictator father. I sincerely hope THIS apple fell as far from the ancentral tree as possible, even if so as just to include the " Not another Fujimori " group...and avoid a popular resurgence of the " El sendero luminyoso" - The Shining Path guerrillas. Japan has a lot to learn from Peru.

Didn't learn anything the first time around with this family, did they? It's like the Philippines and allowing a Marcos back into government.

Is she even a Peruvian citizen? If anything goes wrong Peru might find yet another president running off to the "Motherland"
