Come on Trump and the US put them on "Notice" like you did Iran. This weekend you(Trump) said you backed Japan 100%, or is the Israeli-US alliance different. When Israel says jump the US jumps and according to many when the the US says jump to Japan it jumps. So lets have a bit of fairness here, if you class Iran and North Korea then the rhetoric coming from Capitol Hill has to be the same.

More talk will do nothing, I can not see any thing short of military action.

I can not see any thing short of military action.

Who do you think should be taking this military action you are suggesting?

Amy military response will require a UN resolution and full security council support.

The Government of China is noticeably dragging it feet to condemn leader Kim Jong Un actions, that amount to unacceptable provocation and give elements in Abe san cabinet the political ammunition to further push for constitutional change.

And yet you want the US bases out of there and far away. I'm guessing you expect they would help in said "military action" or if Japan were attacked, but still demand they leave. Am I right?

In any case, you can't see anything short of military action because you are limited. Military action would mean the deaths of a LOT of people, and possibly Japan being nuked (again). Is that what you want? It's a guarantee if there is a military confrontation, it is NOT a guarantee with talks.

Next test will be over Japan with threat of war if it is shot down. Nothing will be done, just condemnations but nothing else can be done.

NK is crazy enough to annihilate everything around them (SK & Japan) for their grand finale.

Trump will fix this.

Hit him with some burger diplomacy or something.

Kim Jong Un supervised the test ........

shouting "Fire in the hole! In 3 - 2 - 1 - Fayah!"

What Kim wants with this launch? He wants a) attention (timing of the launch is noteworthy, when Abe visited the US) and b) free stuff (food, oil etc).

What Japan should do? Japan should a) not give Kim the publicity he wants, any turmoil in Japan media is music to his ears, and b) not give him anything, just ignore him. All that Japan should really do is development of its antimissile capability to counter real attack.

I hope not.....keep sending your tributes home and you'll be fine :D

Russia also shares a border with mad fat Kim yet seem to be un-involved per se. Isn't it a worry having a total nutcase that close or are we not getting the full picture in the West?

I think you MI-6 / DGSE guys got very clear picture, you are smart and Russia's interests are logical and actually very easy to understand. Nobody wants an unpredictable guy with nukes near one's borders. That's why Russia constantly supports UN sanctions on NK for its nuclear / missile programs. I'm glad Japan have common ground with Russia on this. Cheers!
