Too bad South Africa does not have the Death Penalty, because this scum bag "blade runner " really seems to have worked hard at deserving it!!

“I believe he knew she was in the bathroom and he shot four shots through the door,” the detective said, adding that the angle at which the rounds were fired suggested they were aimed at somebody on the toilet.

I think this person is on to something!

I'm beginning to wonder whether the prosecution has intentionally selected the bungling lead investigator Botha in order to torpedo their own case.

" Testimony began with the prosecutor telling the court that before the shooting, a neighbor heard "non-stop'' shouting between 2am. and 3am at Pistorius's upscale home in a gated community in the capital, Pretoria. However, Botha later said under cross-examination that the witness was in a house 550 metres away, possibly out of earshot. He cut that estimate in half when questioned again by the prosecutor, as confusion reigned for much of his testimony."

In case a critical point was missed, Botha stated later under cross-examination that the witness was in a house 550 metres away, possibly out of earshot. Then he revised that distance to 300 meters. Unless he's unfamiliar with the metric system, that's a huge difference. And even if the lower number is correct, to hear other people shouting within their home from inside another home at 300 meters distance would be quite a feat.

Credibility of the prosecution's case got dealt some hard blows, possibly shot full of holes.

Another factoid that came out is that the autopsy revealed Reeva's bladder was empty at the time, lending credibility that she indeed had gone to the toilet for that purpose.

My instinct tells me the charges will have to be revised to a lesser charge, such as manslaughter.

I am not familiar with the SA court system, but since they went for murder first, it may not be possible to switch.

This trial has been far too rushed. That was stupid beyond belief. Everyone should have taken time to think.
