I agree with him 100% on releasing non violent offenders. I would release every person in jail in America who is in on a marijuana possession charge. It is absurd that anyone is in jail because of weed.

Before this Obama was the most merciless President since Nixon- some the rejections of clemency were beyond mean like a woman who went down for drug charges because her ex-husband kept drugs hidden on the premises.

My only concern is as with the release of terrorists from Guantanamo facility by Obama that returned to terror activities.

There is not enough data and information regarding those that were pardoned, for any of us to evaluate or to opine upon.

However, this blatant effort at such a late stage of his presidency to undermine the presidential power of the newly elected President is not what I would call presidential nor meaningfully acceptable as a citizen.

Maybe Obama had information we don't.

I would bet a lot of these people are rich people that donated or their families donated to his campaigns or the DNC. The former more important of course. Lame duck Presidents no matter what party should not have the right to do this in my humble opinion. Nature of the beast.

PS I am not a republican or democrat. I think for myself.

However...

Wonderful. Expect a deluge of mental flatulence when the Opiner-in-Chief moves into the White House.
