Curiously this story fails to mention what many other news outlets are reporting : idiotic bouncers stopping people from leaving until they paid their bills. Unfathomable really, I've encountered some gorillas on night club doors before, but this takes the cake. The place is burning down and you want people desperate to live to pay up? The only hope is that authorities get their act truly into gear, and really inact meaningful reforms. The WC and Olympics are coming up.

It can't be THAT many. I haven't heard that bit of hearsay. Regardless, I don't care HOW bada$$ a bouncer is, he's not single-handedly stopping a panicked crowd. He'll get shoved out the door like a bit of driftwood on the tide.
