Donald Trump is the gift that keeps on giving for the Democrats, and keeping the insane Party away from the Whitehouse for a generation or so.

Go Trump! Run as an independent if the GOP Asylum refuse your inmateship.

It makes sense that he's so popular. Looking at the comments of all the other candidates from the debate, they all seem so robotic and ludicrous. If I were a conservative, I would most likely vote for Trump over any of the rest of that comedy group

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I read a comment elsewhere that if Trump were to win the presidency it would be like the rich and successful Biff being mayor of Hill Valley in Back to the Future II. Trump even looks like him. That made me laugh.

More like the bad, the worse and the son of orangutan.

'Ben Carson: “If Hillary is the candidate, which I doubt, that would be a dream come true… She is the epitome of the progressive, the secular progressive movement. And she counts on the fact that people are uninformed'

Uninformed? Unlike those relying on voters who think the world is 6,000 years old, believe the Noah's Ark story is literally true, deny evolution and think Obama is a Muslim?

You gotta love how Trump is completely controlling the muppets in the GOP, and their supporters. Basically it's either, "I win, or I go independent", and if he gets his way with EITHER it's even more of a guaranteed win for the Dems. Hahaha! Notice how none of them could answer about Hillary?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Demonstrating yet again that people are fascinated with train wrecks

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Notice how none of them could answer about Hillary?

Their responses were very clear cut in regards to Hilary.

Hilary is nearly done and dusted so the candidates who think they are in this long term aren't spending a lot of time flogging the dead horse.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

They're just going to sail into the presidency by ignoring the Democrat opposition and taking a stand against abortion and gays. I can't imagine a better strategy.

They are? First I've heard of it.

If they did show opposition to the Progressive agenda, they would win. But they won't. They are called "The Stupid Party" for a reason. Full of elitist fools who are out of touch with regular people.

The only one who articulated a position of reasonableness was Kasich. GOP voters would be wise to pick him, because he could speak across the spectrum more than the others, and probably move in a positive and pragmatic direction. He demonstrated his understanding of the need to deal realistically with the realities of the economically and socially marginalized. But that's not the GOP we're currently dealing with.

As for the others, thanks for the entertainment. My worst three jerks list: Trump, Cruz, Walker. In a way, I disrespect Cruz and Walker more because they're angling for votes from the dumb, and cash from the rich. Trump is just naturally obnoxious. He doesn't have to try, and in any case he's got plenty of cash.

Apparently you didn't see the lashing that Rand Paul gave Trump.

Basically it's either, "I win, or I go independent", and if he gets his way with EITHER it's even more of a guaranteed win for the Dems. Hahaha! Notice how none of them could answer about Hillary?

Thank God, he showed his true colors, now I hope his poll numbers go down so that the others get a chance to shine. At this point Hillary is becoming a bigger liability.

The only one who articulated a position of reasonableness was Kasich.

He wasn't the only one. I think Cruz did an excellent job myself as well As Fiorino.

GOP voters would be wise to pick him, because he could speak across the spectrum more than the others, and probably move in a positive and pragmatic direction.

Good so far.

He demonstrated his understanding of the need to deal realistically with the realities of the economically and socially marginalized. But that's not the GOP we're currently dealing with.

God knows we can't and will get it from the Democrats.

As for the others, thanks for the entertainment. My worst three jerks list: Trump, Cruz, Walker. In a way,

I'll definitely admit Trump was a very big jerk, but I wouldn't expect anything else from him, bombastic as usual.

I disrespect Cruz and Walker more because they're angling for votes from the dumb, and cash from the rich.

So what's wrong with that? Or are you suggesting they should be more sneaky about campaign contributions like Clinton?

Trump is just naturally obnoxious. He doesn't have to try, and in any case he's got plenty of cash.

Yes, he sure does.

Can't wait to see the Democrats debate. Will it be requested to leave all the Clinton baggage in the trunk or will it be a fair and challenging debate? Fox did present the Republicans with challenges one can't deny.

Unless you live in a bubble you can't deny the collective Republican challengers merit. I did want to see Carly Fiorina on the stage....Very happy to see Ben Carson! He's not aggressive which is okay but very careful and precise.

As expected, it is an overloaded selection but interesting and exiting to see.

'As expected, it is an overloaded selection but interesting and exiting to see'

I would have certainly exited but Trump was quite funny and worth watching.

John McCain not war hero! Well said, Mr Trump! Now I saw the only person who is not a poltical correct coward! Congratulations! And thanks for sharing your remarks.

Heh, you do know that it was Mrs. Bill Clinton's supporters who first floated that political balloon back in 2007 ......

Deems and libs have a short term and an obsessively, selective memory when it comes to history, sound bytes and facts. What else is new?

Trump was only one who declared he will be Independent if nir chosen All CNN opinion contributers were impressed fomer HP CEO handling Qs. Many still wasted time on braggong his religeon, how poor he was talking about Hillary.

I hope Trump wins.

So which crazy has your vote?

Since when are lunatics allowed to leave the Asylum without supervision?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I think most of the candidates came off pretty well, given that in the absence of a real debate, no one challenged anyone on any of their answers. One minute snippets is too short to say much of any substance. When the field shrinks to 7 or less, we’ll see some much better content. Moderation was the most hostile, unprofessional and ridiculous ever. Fox had the opportunity to set the standard for debates among networks. They chose to be biased and ask tabloid like questions, instead of focusing on issues.

Paul and Bush concentrated to answer questions, Others were too busy and gave impression that they believe GOP members are all extremely poor religious phanatics. Beep Beep they ignored to talk to imaginary poor GOP members.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

'Since when are lunatics allowed to leave the Asylum without supervision?'

When Jesus allows it.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Governors candidates promise unemployment as low as their states, That scare GOP members in West unemployment rate rate is not bad like their states.

'Moderation was the most hostile, unprofessional and ridiculous ever. Fox had the opportunity to set the standard for debates among networks. They chose to be biased and ask tabloid like questions, instead of focusing on issues.'

Fox is a tabloid on air. I'm an experienced dog owner and I found out that it is impossible to stop a male Jack Russell from licking his genitals even when my grandmother was visiting. Fox, like other tabloids, is different in the sense that the audience actually enjoys watching this.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Three CNN members who did questions had been GOP side talk show contributers for years.

Fox, like other tabloids, is different in the sense that the audience actually enjoys watching this.

____________________________________________ The earlier debate with bottom tier candidates was somewhat easygoing, much more neutral from the moderators and basically fine. Fox News definitely did some damage to their brand at 9. Singling out Trump at the beginning of the debate lost them a lot in their war on Media Bias. It was clear media bias on display. Megan’s “It’s all about me” should disqualify her from another debate if Trump is involved.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Is this Q and A CNN effort to let voters forget who else is DEM candidates?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

'Moderation was the most hostile, unprofessional and ridiculous ever.

But the Dems are better with their Gotcha questions, right? Yeah, it would have been better if Crowley were moderating the debates over the GOP perhaps. Sorry, the mods were tough, they asked hard questions and one Donald Trump got a little testy with Kelly, but maybe you think she should've been more soft perhaps? ROFL

Fox had the opportunity to set the standard for debates among networks.

Which they did.

They chose to be biased and ask tabloid like questions, instead of focusing on issues.'

Believe me, with the Dems it'll be nothing that people will care about Climate Change? Not putting enough money in peoples pockets, abortion, Not putting enough money in peoples pockets, racism? The so called fallacy war on women? ISIS....nope....the Iran deal..., Russia and China?

Dems will be talking about how to turn a carrot into lasting fuel for their vegan, Prius driving constituents.

Fox is a tabloid on air.

103 million people beg to differ.

I'm an experienced dog owner and I found out that it is impossible to stop a male Jack Russell from licking his genitals even when my grandmother was visiting.

What?

Fox, like other tabloids, is different in the sense that the audience actually enjoys watching this.

Could be worse, they could be bored to death watching the BBC or worse, my former employer msnbc. But watching Sharpton is a riot in itself!

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

It isn't a matter of whether the questions to Trump were tough or whether he could have answered better or whether the Dems do it worse etc, they just were not fair when the same standard was not applied across the board. Moderators are there to help the audience learn more about the candidates so the audience can make informed decisions. They are not there, for either parties debates, to take on the candidates themselves. There should be probing questions but when the moderators are the ones on offense against one of the participants and in the tank for another, that is beyond the pale. It's something people though Fox was above... until now.

It isn't that people are whining that Trump can't take it. He shouldn't have had to take it directly from the moderators. They clearly took sides and prevented Trump from speaking his own message as they let others do... especially Jeb.

No one likes to see an unfair match with the refs massaging the outcome of the game.

Of cause. Not only enjoying to watch it has people like you to enjoy bad mouthing on it. Which other tabloid you read to be expert in comparison? Are you reading tabloid all day to be an expert?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So 103 million people like tabloids.

That's your opinion. If you have the president of the United States trying to unsuccessfully trying to attack the biggest cable news network and focusing his efforts to silence it gives some pause as to the affect it has on the president, his thin-skinnedness and the power of the network when it takes him from dealing with other serious pressing matters, which he never has undertaken anyway, but you get the point.

That doesn't make it a quality news show.

That's not what the ratings are showing.

Probably a billion or more people like hot dogs, too, and they're made of floor sweepings from meat packing plants, like Fox.

Hot Dogs? Seriously, love the apples to kiwis analogy. ROFL

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The morning news had discussions bvout yesterday's discussion evaluation by many different opinion contributers, All of them had agreed the lady candidate as top candidate but they said Trump made formerly unspoken iaayes such as immigration to be discussed. Jeb was warmly mentioned. Paul was evaluated on his stabd well. But about everybofy think candidates are teying to win against Hillary. In any case, Trumo will be a candidate if not GOP Independent.

This is the best the USA can do, pretty sad

someone wrote that most Americans have less than $400 in their bank account while the minute minority represented by the political class are basically rolling in dough and like to keep it that way.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Wasn't it $400 G (400,000) in a state?Or you made up story. You are guessing from some poor country out of USA

0 ( +0 / -0 )

'Could be worse, they could be bored to death watching the BBC'

Revealing idea. Is BBC too boring for you? Do you prefer something more entertaining or the people of the show to have flowing blond hair and a short skirt along with rants against the liberals? Sound a bit like you like a tabloid approach. Try another Murdoch creation from the UK called The Sun with topless women on page 3 and opinion pieces railing against immigrants. He knows a winning formula.

'That doesn't make it a quality news show.

That's not what the ratings are showing.'

You don't seem to be able to assimilate the simple point that because something is popular it doesn't mean it has quality. There is intelligent and thoughtful criticism coming from the right but not from Fox.

Enjoy the short skirts and rightist rants and why not?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

That doesn't make it a quality news show.

That's not what the ratings are showing.

I think the disconnect between these two statements pretty much perfectly expresses the problems with the Republican party of today. They think that ratings equal quality. And that's how they intend to run the country.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Lizz: There should be probing questions but when the moderators are the ones on offense against one of the participants and in the tank for another, that is beyond the pale. It's something people though Fox was above... until now.

It's almost like they are working with the GOP leaders to make Trump look bad. Or maybe it's just pure coincidence.

Thank GOD for this idiot Donald Trump! This a GOD SEND so I am so happy!!
