@BurningBush - I agree - the Russians have defeated ISIS and the rebels in Aleppo - now let's see what type of assistance is offered. The U.S. hands are dirty in this theater (likely supporting the rebels and ISIS).
What is needed is assistance delivered into the area....not refugees leaving. Help the people in Syria rebuild. The past 2 U.S. administrations have blood on their hands in this region.
I would also expect assistance from other Middle Eastern countries who stood by and offered absoultely nothing (not even accepting refugees)

Me thinks if Russia and China didn't veto the latest proposed UN resolution on Syria, these rebels would've still have a shot by now. Now they're surrendering and are defeated......hmmm

Glad to hear part of Obama's proxy wars is over. Looks like that Qatar pipeline won't be going forward. All this death and destruction over Russian and Middle East gas. Now if Obama can pull the reins in on NATO and stop trying to start WW III he might be able to save part of his legacy. Notice we haven't heard much from the MSM about Russian gas and Europe? I wonder why?

This is obama's legacy. Disgusting. Thankfully russia and the syrian regime stuck to their guns. Those displaced from aleppo, merkel wants them in europe.

Congratulations to the people of Syria with this great victory! Special congratulations to the populace of Aleppo, they are free and safe now. Glory to Syrian soldiers, Russian pilots and foreign volunteers who made this great victory possible. Hopefully the end of the war is close.
Capitulation of terrorists in Aleppo is the final touch to the infamous legacy of Obama. Wow, this guy started with such great hopes and expectations (remember the Nobel prize for doing nothing), but started his own dirty war (Lybia) and carried on as a supporter of head-cutters in Syria. What a sore loser.

Personally, I don't see the glory in kicking down doors and killing unarmed women and children or in the relentless bombing of civilian population centers also killing unarmed women and children.
But I guess that if you find that kind of thing glorious then it could be seen as a great victory; but for me it just looks like a massacre carried out with complete disdain for human life.

But not for lack of trying. It's just a matter of the FSA running out of will before the Syrians and Russians ran out of bombs. If given enough time I'm sure that both the the Syrians and the Russians would have gladly carried out the glorious annihilation. They were just cheated out of the glory by the spineless terrorists giving up.

You saw too much TV footage of US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And I'm sure you consume too much US / NATO propaganda. Syrians and Russians had all the time in the world to flatten Aleppo if they wanted to (but they didn't). Instead they opted for slow, careful advance to minimize casualties.

In case you haven't noticed this is happening in Syria and it's not the US kicking down the doors.
So now the OHCHR and UNICEF are tools of US/NATO propaganda?
In case you haven't noticed eastern Aleppo is pretty much flattened and lots of Syrian civilians are dead under the rubble.
If the plan was to minimize SAA and Russian casualties, I guess they succeeded somewhat. But as far as minimizing civilian casualties, not so much.
