Perhaps more than anyone else in Trump’s inner circle, the ousted aide has preached a simple mantra: “Let Trump be Trump.” - article

And what the American People have seen of "Let Trump be Trump" has made them sick.

And, well Trump just created a new job, and that's what ya get for assaulting a woman during the Campaign.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

well Trump just created a new job

Heh! Made me spit some morning coffee with that.

that's what ya get for assaulting a woman during the Campaign.

Unfortunately, I don't think this is the case. Lewandowski will likely never face any real repercussions for his assault on that reporter. Rather, this abrupt dismissal is a business decision. The campaign is struggling, something no one can deny. Trump clearly felt he needed to do this or see his ambitions die in the water. The irony is its Trump himself that's the problem with the campaign.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

"Let Trump be Trump" has been the problem since day one.

Trump should have run as someone else.

But, then, of course, that big investment in Trump's 'birther' racism would have been lost.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

CNN reported hours after Corey Lewandowski's dismissal as Trump's campaign manager that Ivanka Trump had come to her father to argue for his firing. Ivanka was apparently angry that Lewandowski had sought to plant negative stories about her husband, Jared Kushner, who is working on Trump's transition team. She told her father he had to choose between letting Lewandowski go or moving forward with the campaign without her. So now the story is that the establishment has taken over Trump's campaign. lol

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Trump adviser ... tweeted, “Ding dong the witch is dead!”.... The aide was to have served as Trump’s director of communications at next month’s convention

A guy tweeting juvenile cr@p like that was who Trump had chosen as his communications director? Remember when he boasted about his ability to choose the best advisers? Take that with a large grain of salt.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

You didn't really think that Trump would blame himself for his plummeting poll numbers. For greater efficiency in trying to clean up the mess, the campaign should have sacked its candidate.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

This might not be a bad thing. Manafort is a real pro, so let's see what he can do. Not a bad move on Trump.

-18 ( +3 / -21 )

So now Trump's campaign begins to crumble internally. When it collapses, the Republican party will probably also collapse into the black hole created.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

I think there’s a good chance if his kids did have some influence in this, they had good reasons although as a general rule a president or anyone in a position of authority cannot let his family have family running interference, putting you on the spot, demanding you make choices. swaying important decisions, if this is in fact what happened. It is one thing is this is a small business but But it is untenable for many reasons at a large company with many employees, stockholders, clients, etc, depending on that company, or for the President of the United States.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Sounds like Trump may be selling out his daughter in an attempt to resurrect his campaign.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

And what the American People have seen of "Let Trump be Trump" has made them sick.

Jee, that's funny. The Mexican flag wavers, rioters, illegal criminals and thugs like Rakeem Jones make us sick.

-13 ( +4 / -17 )

God only knows what would happen if the Democrats ever "let Hillary be Hillary". Or, even worse, is she actually as wooden and uncharismatic in private as she seems in her scripted moments in public?

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

All Hillary can do is criticize Trump for his free wheeling interactions with the press...'Now if you're in public life you're not always going to like what the press says about you,' said the candidate, who hasn't held a nred conference since December 2015.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

'Now if you're in public life you're not always going to like what the press says about you,'

Trump has a solution to that plan. Ban the press that says bad stuff about you.

Which as we all know is how any good presid... I mean dictator acts.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

that has fueled his unlikely rise in Republican politics.

Way to go MSM/AP. Spinning as usual and way out of touch with the average citizen. Whether you like or dislike Trump, this obvious propoganda piece only serves the low IQ level person.

-13 ( +3 / -16 )

Trump has a solution to that plan.

So does Obama. By signing "executive orders" when congress doesn't agree. Talk about a dictator-

-17 ( +2 / -19 )

So does Obama. By signing "executive orders" when congress doesn't agree. Talk about a dictator-

Yep, a dictator just like every republican president in the past 50 years - all of whom signed executive orders.

Or did you not know that?

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Could it be true that Trump is actually unaware of the shambles (or "dumpster fire") his campaign is? This third-person view of the incident certainly suggests so. It wouldn't be that surprising - though only two years older than Clinton, men age more quickly, and Trump has always surrounded himself with sycophants; plus, in business, money has a way of buying yourself out of trouble that it does not in politics: all of this leads to the image of an isolated, old man with little clue of what is actually going on.

It'd make a good movie, though: Lewandowski suggesting himself as Trump's VP pick only to find himself minutes later escorted from the building with a warning never to return.

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/06/trump-kids-ousted-corey-lewandowski.html

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Could it be true that Trump is actually unaware of the shambles (or "dumpster fire") his campaign is?

It's possible. Romney didn't know in 2012 and was truly surprised when he lost.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Shambles ? Clinton is the one going downhill in the important swing states. The race is essentially a toss-up in those places where the contest will be decided. Trump is currently showing no worse than Mitt Romney did or even, in places such as Pennsylvania or Virginia, running better.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

Apples and oranges, stranger. Romney had good tabs on his campaign (he had "binders of women," remember?) and his loss came as a surprise to many. Trump increasingly sees unable to find his butt with both hands.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Republican strategist Ryan Williams, a frequent Trump critic, said Lewandowski’s dismissal “is the first major public admission from Donald Trump that his campaign is not going well.”

That's funny.

Was Trump's Campaign doing something besides stirring a vat of hate and saying guns in bars solve all of life's problems, permanently?

Not going well? That depends on what your definition of well is, is.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Laguna, you may want to go easy on the health comparisons of Hillary and The Donald. He is in fantastic shape for his age, doesn't smoke or drink, exercises regularly. Hillary looks and sounds like, well I don't want to be uncharitable or unkind, but... like her age.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Lizz,

It bears noting that the Mexican flag wavers, violent demonstrations, and general anger didn't exist in any appreciable capacity until Trump characterized Mexican immigrants as rapist and thieves and announced a wall to be built along the southern border.

He further cemented his position as decidedly anti-Mexican when he announced that all illegal immigrants, seed, stem, and root, be sent back to Mexico immediately, including "anchor babies," an obnoxious term designed specifically to dehumanize Mexican parents and their children.

Trump has worked very hard to earn the anger of Mexians, those in the US legally and illegally alike.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

So the Trump campaign is blaming Lewandowski for letting Trump be Trump? I wish I could blame my colleagues for all my shortcomings too.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Wow! So much hatred by some on one man (Donald Trump) who exposed the folly of liberal "political correctness" in shielding directly or indirectly violent, cruel, mindless Islamic Jihadists who are killing so many innocent people, men, women, children & even raping many young girls. The world is terrorized by them.

Progressive liberal ideas are OK and workable, if it is directed in a society where people have basic respect for one another and are law-abiding. Globalization has its limits especially when it comes to importing or accepting violent heartless group of "cancerous" people bend on killing others. Cancer treatment is to isolate and target the cancer and not to spread it around.

What your view will be when your own family members are killed? Will you change you view?

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

So much hatred by some on one man (Donald Trump) who exposed the folly of liberal "political correctness"

So instead he created a bunch of conservative "political correctness" talking points that the bigots are now espousing as fact.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Yep, a dictator just like every republican president in the past 50 years - all of whom signed executive orders.

But not for benefiting the mullahs of iran. We should be reinforce our ties with the only true democracy in the ME -Isreal.

Yep! Basically anyone not white makes me sick too... Not!

What? Look at all the well-off, successful and educated Asian Americans?? They're making America great too. More than the illegals from Mexico and the slums of Central America.

Who said, "all White"? You bought that line, not me.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

"Presumtive" Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is the closest she'll ever get to the White House. After she's indicted in this criminal investigation for having an email server set up in her home, putting the nation's secrets at risk, among other things, Bernie Sanders will be nominated and become the president in January. Whew!

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

After she's indicted in this criminal investigation for having an email server set up in her home, putting the nation's secrets at risk, among other things

With all this "tolerance" going around, her kind of treasonous behavior will be overlooked. Look, the FBI has already dropped the ball on Omar Mateen.

Plus she's got media in her pocket. They'll help the FBI clear her. The media sells it & you live the role-

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Drumpf is currently showing no worse than Mitt Romney did....

And how did that end?

It's fun watching the Trump machine shake itself apart as the bigots can't agree on what to hate most.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Funky; can you please show us what Trump has done that is bigoted? Not said, but done.I can't remember reading that his hotels/casinos have racist policies, don't hire ethnic minorities, etc. In fact, his latest comment on the Orlando shootings was

"it's a strike at the heart and soul of our nation. It is an assault on the ability of free people to live their lives, .love who they want, and express their identity"

Doesn't sound like a bigot to me...

-8 ( +3 / -11 )

So does Obama. By signing "executive orders" when congress doesn't agree. Talk about a dictator-

Yep, a dictator just like every republican president in the past 50 years - all of whom signed executive orders.

But not for benefiting the mullahs of iran. We should be reinforce our ties with the only true democracy in the ME -Isreal.

Changing your tune there. Your first comment had nothing about Iran.

And Isreal may be a democracy, but they are oppressors as well. Democracy isn't everything, it's just one metric.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Funky; can you please show us what Drumpf has done that is bigoted? Not said, but done.

Are you suggesting we should ignore everything he says he says? You're right, he is more palatable if he doesn't have to be responsible for the words that come out of his mouth- like, you know, a real presidential nominee.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

If you thought Lewandowski was bad, wait until you see some of the new hires.

New senior aide Kevin Kellems. Doesn't ring a bell? Think back 13 years to the guy who used his own saliva to fix Paul Wolfowitz's hair, and later said he should get hazard pay for it. He's found a fresh head of hair to intermingle his juices. (Gag)

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Changing your tune there. Your first comment had nothing about Iran.

What I originally meant to imply was how (Obama) tyrannical he was with congress over the iran nuclear deal. We were talking about tyrants weren't we?

Democracy isn't everything, it's just one metric.

It's not perfect but its the best form of government anywhere on this globe. Sure beats savage, knuckle-dragging Sharia Law the muslim world lives in.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Torafusu, that doesn't even begin to cover the travesty that is the Trump "campaign" (well, his team does befit the style of a carnival barker). Check this out for further hair-raising regarding the person the GOP would elect to the highest position in the land: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/06/20/politics/michael-caputo-corey-lewandowski-donald-trump/index.html

5 ( +5 / -0 )

please show us what Trump has done that is bigoted?

Trump Management Corporation was sued by the Justice Department in 1973, settled, and was then sued once more in 1978 for again discriminating against black potential tenants.

New Jersey Casino Control Commission fined the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino $200,000 in 1992 for removing African-American card dealers

Trump disparaged his black casino employees as “lazy” in vividly bigoted terms, according to a 1991 book by John O’Donnell, a former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino.

A dictator? Hmmmm....what was it the anointed one said, he wants to have the most transparency admin. Fast and furious, Benghazi, the IRS scandal the redaction of anything pertaining to the reference of Islam. This White House has broken more laws and was the least transparent of any presidency. How dare these people try to insult Americans by forcing them to believe a narrative that a few days ago, THEY couldn't even defend. The Orlando shooter was not an Islamic terrorist and never used or uttered "Allah Akbar" I'll say it again, November can't come soon enough, can't wait until this president is history.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Sense, that is pretty thin soup if you have to reach back more than 40 years to something that his father's company was sued for. Plus one quote from a disgruntled employee from last century? Not impressed.

We could instead talk about Hillary's idolization of a racist and eugenicist who advocated for the forced sterilization of African Americans, or her husband's characterization of President Obama as the kind of person who should be fetching his coffee.....but let's not.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

Sense, that is pretty thin soup if you have to reach back more than 40 years to something that his father's company was sued for

27 year-old Donald was president of the company at the time it was sued by the Justice Department.

http://www.nytimes.com/times-insider/2015/07/30/1973-meet-donald-trump/?_r=0

Plus one quote from a disgruntled employee from last century? Not impressed.

The former president of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino was less impressed. Most people would be disgruntled.

So the New Jersey Casino Control Commission and the Justice Department were both wrong?

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Y'all need to watch H.A. Goodman's video "Hillary Clinton is more dangerous than Donald Trump. America needs Bernie Sanders." on Youtube. I think he may be right.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Benghazi, the IRS scandal the redaction of anything pertaining to the reference of Islam. This White House has broken more laws and was the least transparent of any presidency.

None of those things have anything to do with transparency.

The Orlando shooter was not an Islamic terrorist and never used or uttered "Allah Akbar"

They didn't say any of those things.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Trump. Is short on campaign fund so his children who have been running his business can't afford campaign manager who insult donors. Fedoras were. Coming that his children suggested their father to fore him who have been rude to GOP supporter rich older people.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

We could instead talk about Hillary's idolization of a racist and eugenicist who advocated for the forced sterilization of African Americans, or her husband's characterization of President Obama as the kind of person who should be fetching his coffee.....but let's not.

Yes, let's not make things up. I agree.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

The Orlando shooter... never used or uttered "Allah Akbar"

actually, the only place I could find this allegation was on far right sites.

Is this a conspiracy by Pulse witnesses to divert attention to (perfectly harmless as everyone knows) guns?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Strangerland. Not made up. Hillary is a great fan of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and noted racist. Bill's racially insensitive remarks are well documented. He said both "a few years ago, he (Obama) would have been carrying our bags" and "he (Obama) would have been getting our coffee" on separate occasions.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

actually, the only place I could find this allegation was on far right sites.

Maybe because the far left sites are trying to make sure it's kept out like the DOJ tried to do with the 911 transcripts. But now we know he did indeed make a reference to Allah, ISIS and that God protect their spiritual leader: Abu Bakr Al-Bagdadi

Is this a conspiracy by Pulse witnesses to divert attention to (perfectly harmless as everyone knows) guns?

No, it's foiled attempt by liberals and Dems in this soon to be out of here admin. to avoid the embarrassment of a failed Foreign Mideast and foiled policy in dealing with radical Jihadism.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

Strangerland. Not made up. Hillary is a great fan of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and noted racist.

Well you say that...

Bill's racially insensitive remarks are well documented. He said both "a few years ago, he (Obama) would have been carrying our bags" and "he (Obama) would have been getting our coffee"

The context of that either went waaaaaaay over your head, or you are being purposefully deceptive in changing the meaning of what he was saying. Neither of which makes you look very good.

Maybe because the far left sites are trying to make sure it's kept out

Nope. It's because it's not true.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Maybe because the far left sites are trying to make sure it's kept out like the DOJ tried to do with the 911 transcripts

Thank you. No more questions.

The hysterical Trump bashing in the median and here on this board is sight to behold. From the comments, one would think that Kim Yong Il or Attila the Hun was in the race.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Trump. Is short on campaign funds....

Toshiko, more than it would seem - you see, his "self-funded" campaign was actually the result of some $35 million in loans from Trumps empire which are now subject to repayment from subsequent donations. Also, that plane of his? - He'd have to pay for its upkeep out of his own pocket normally, but now it comes from campaign bucks. He's also billed his campaign a half million bucks for campaign events he's held at his Florida mansion.

He'll lose and lose badly in the popular vote but might actually end up making some bucks out of his run, as he bragged he might do back in 2000.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

My guess is that Trump will hire a Mexican as his next advisor. It's all about the resume.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

From the comments, one would think that Kim Yong Il or Attila the Hun was in the race.

I'd say the comments reflect actual concerns that a man who has shown he's ill prepared in every way to be the most powerful man in the world might actually become the most powerful man in the world.

I've found many of the Trump supporters have written posts that from my perspective are hysterical in their bashing of Obama (tyrant, baboon, dictator, among others come to mind, plus of course 'The Muslim Kenyan's gonna take my guns and bring sharia law') and HRC.

Beliefs shape perceptions, don't they.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

My guess is that Trump will hire a Mexican as his next advisor. It's all about the resume.

Then he can say 'look at my Mexican over here. I love Mexicans. They love me. Mexicans love me more than anyone has ever loved me, and I'm going to be loved by Mexicans better than anyone has ever been loved by Mexicans. Mexicans love me bigly'.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Ptownsend:

" 'd say the comments reflect actual concerns that a man who has shown he's ill prepared in every way to be the most powerful man in the world might actually become the most powerful man in the world. "

I would say some concerns that Hillary Clinton with her disastrous track record and connections might become president is more of an actual concern.

I can see that the idea of a non-establishment candidate is immensely threatening to the cabale of Washington insiders, globalists (think George Soros), the military-industrial complex, the deep state etc... but that ordinary citizens would chime in and demand more of the same globalist corruption is, frankly, astonishing.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

about time. This only shows that Trump will do what is best for business.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

@FizzPhod but that ordinary citizens would chime in and demand more of the same globalist corruption is, frankly, astonishing.

I doubt many, if any, are demanding more of the same. I think many see HRC as the preferable candidate while others who'll vote for her are frightened by Trump, a corrupt globalist masquerading as a whatever it is he thinks will help his marketing campaign so he can gain access to the keys to the public's resources.

Please, stop with the Trump-is-non-establishment crap. The establishment is not a single entity 'cabale' (sic); it has many branches and layers, and always has. Trump is a member of the establishment. As was his daddy.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Did you use the boardroom firing process like "The Apprentice"?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Trump is a member of the establishment. As was his daddy

As far as the political establishment, of course not.

Thank you. No more questions

And there you have it. Liberal deflection and deception knows NO bounds.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

PTownsend:

" Trump, a corrupt globalist masquerading "

I can only go by what he says. And he has clearly spoken against the globalist agenda on several points, which is why the establishment of both parties plus big capital is against him. While Clinton is the proverbial globalist puppet, not even to mention her Saudi connections.

Unless you have some secret insights, it seems to me you are simply falling for globalist propaganda.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

"And there you have it. Liberal deflection and deception knows NO bounds."

Can I ask you yet again for the links to, quotes from, or just the names of the non-partisan historians who claimed the Bush presidency was a success?

I do think this is relevant here because Trump seems to have many different ideas to the last GOP president who was a success according to your historians. Perhaps moving away from this winning formula wouldn't be a good idea.

I think the views of your historians would be most useful here. Academic, non-partisan scholars who would surely hate the idea of deception and half-truths.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Clinton to Target Trump’s Business Record

Former secretary of state to cast presumptive GOP nominee as self-interested, untrustworthy

http://www.wsj.com/articles/clinton-to-target-trumps-business-record-1466337601

I seriously cannot believe Clinton is going here. At least he made money honestly. This is what you would call extreme hypocrisy and it is going to back fire big time....She is about as qualified to criticize Trump on his business record as she is qualified for the Presidency.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Zaphod, can you elaborate on what the "globalist agenda" is? I Googled it and all I found were accusations that Obama paid the Vatican $78 million to push for open borders because - (didn't read further).

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I seriously cannot believe Clinton is going here.

Why not? It's where he's most vulnerable.

At least he made money honestly.

More and more it's not looking that way. Trump-U? Failure. And he has said he would donate profits to charity for multiple business ventures, and it's looking like he didn't. Same as what happened with the vets benefit he put on - he didn't give them the money until he was pressed on the matter.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

So like his many, many bankruptcies, we have another example of Trump doing whatever he wants and someone else having to pay the cost of it. "How could you let me let you let me be me? Haven't you realized I'm terrible?"

4 ( +5 / -1 )

@Fizzphod Unless you have some secret insights, it seems to me you are simply falling for globalist propaganda.

Are you suggesting Trump's properties and businesses in Turkey, Dubai, India, Panama, Canada, the Philippines, the UK among other places, and the manufacturing his companies have done in China, Bangladesh and Mexico somehow exempt him from having globalist connections - because he speaks against them?

And because he's unwilling to disclose his financial info, who knows where else he has investments and who else he's partnering with. Go by what he says?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Why not? It's where he's most vulnerable.

He is actually more vulnerable on foreign policy. Because Trump is going to have a comparable answer to every corporate scandal' she attempts to raise.Of course after pocketing millions she is now firmly against for profit schools after Obama has labeled them fraudulent and ineffective.

http://nypost.com/2016/06/12/the-clinton-university-scandal/

Kudos to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley for asking why the media aren’t asking about the $16.5 million paid to Bill Clinton by Laureate International Universities.

For all the hundreds of stories on Trump University, nothing’s been written about the huge payments over 2010-2014 to the potential future first gentleman to serve as “honorary chancellor” of the vast for-profit education firm.

Nor about the $55 million that Hillary Clinton’s State Department sent the way of groups run by Laureate founder Douglas Becker — who happens to be a major donor to Clinton campaigns and the Clinton Foundation.

One Laureate component, mostly-online Walden University, even faced its own class-action lawsuit. In that, as Turley notes, “Students alleged that they were repeatedly delayed and given added costs as they tried to secure degrees, leaving them deeply in debt.”

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

"I seriously cannot believe Clinton is going here."

"Why not? It's where he's most vulnerable."

Cripes, if that's where Trump is most vulnerable, Hillary's in deep trouble!

Y'all need to check out Ryan Cooper's article "The Case Against Hllary Clinton" on theweek.com. Hillary supporters are in for a rude awakening.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Lewandowski sounds like small potatoes . . .

"Mr. Trump began June with $1.3 million in campaign cash, trailing Hillary Clinton by more than $41 million, the biggest disadvantage for a major party's nominee in recent history."

source: Donald Trump Starts Summer Push With Crippling Money Deficit, CONFESSORE and SHOREY

Trump has run the same con before. "It'll Be Fabulous!" if someone else pays the freight.

How much will they pay for "The Man Who Could Not Be Bought"?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Here's an interesting nugget divined from mandatory campaign expense disclosures: A full 20 percent of Trump’s campaign expenditures this month went to his children and to companies that bear his name.

https://twitter.com/derekwillis/status/745082013321990145

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Trump is not prepared to be president. Not yet anyway. He was probably as surprised as everyone that he won the nomination. But he won by staking out positions on issues both parties have been failing on.

Out of control border Trade deals which seem to decimate US manufacturing Expensive military adventures Terrorism Out of whack banking/hedge funds

These are powerful issues that have created a huge void in the traditional party system. But it seems clear if he expects to win the general election he has to up his game. As rocky as this month has been the good news for him is the lack of support Hillary is getting. This election is wide ope. It will be interesting to see what his new team will do.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Thank you. No more questions

And there you have it. Liberal deflection and deception knows NO bounds.

Yes, dear. When's the bestseller coming out?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

A honest and direct approach to manage and to govern efficiently. It would be extremely efficient for countries like Japan, if a company or the government can "fire" people that is no longer effective or needed within that organization.

His action definitely sent a strong message to all government employees that should he become the President, they must "perform" to a "high" standard and get "results". It also sends a message to the establishment and to other nations of the world that business will not be the same even if they were friends. However, he did not say or indicate that friendships or a relationship other than the business relationship was severed.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

I think the bigger problem is, most liberals cannot objectively see or even try to realize or take the issues seriously that are front and center stage of deepest concerns with the average American voters. Because they live in a insular liberal vacuum, they refuse to acknowledge the urgency as you were mentioning earlier. They feel that everything is ok in America and that couldn't be further from the truth. Trump is a clear repudiation of Obama and his policies as well as a rejection and anger towards the GOP. Congress has an 8% approval rating as well as empty and useless branch in Washington that has failed to stop or at least forcefully challenge Obama on a number of issues. Trump needs to step us his game as you said, he is going up against a deeply flawed and in many respects an incompetent candidate that should be easier to beat in theory, the country just can't take much more of the economic stagnant growth, low wage income, the shrinking of the middle class, terrorism, illegal immigration, the open border. One thing for sure is, once this president is out of office at least the country will be better off.

In June 20 interview:

Bill O'Reilly: Do you regret calling her ( Elizabeth Warren ) Pocahontas?"

Donald Trump assassination attempt foiled by security. Illegal immigrant from the UK arrested by police as the 19 year old man tried to take police officer's gun and kill Trump.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@sam. Breaking news? Didn't that happen a few hrs ago? This guy (who attempted to steal the cop's gun) had went to a firing range for a day to practice shooting before showing up at the convention.

Sorry folks. Firearms proficiency is not learned overnight. He'd have to be very close to get a kill shot, for a beginner.

Seeing how his campaign is broke, Trump probably just needed to save some money....

Bass,

One thing for sure is, once this president is out of office at least the country will be better off.

You keep repeating this line, but it just doesn't make a bit of sense when Obama's job approval rating has been steadily rising since 2014 and currently sits at 53 percent. The historical average for

Trump is a clear repudiation of Obama and his policies as well as a rejection and anger towards the GOP.

Possibly for Trump supporters. But not for some 53 percent of the electorate. And of those Americans who disapprove of Obama's job perfomance, some 44 percent, they most certainly are not all Trump supporters.

So clearly, something here is wrong with either your perception of reality or your ability to do simply math.

(posting this so you can get a chance to finish that, since you can't post two in a row)

As much as I dislike Don the Con, I'm glad this kid wasn't able to shoot him. No one deserves to be executed like that.

Illegal immigrant from the UK arrested by police as the 19 year old man tried to take police officer's gun and kill Trump.

Thank God, the gun control measures failed in the Senate as I knew it would.

Ok, now taking off the rose colored glasses. That's Obama's approval rating? I get it, but that has nothing to do as far as his job performance in the areas of foreign policy which Brennan as well as the Senior Staff at the Pentagon, the CIA, NSA. Every serious economist says we are chugging along a slow growth with a GDP of 0.2 % which is pretty bad, still have the highest corporate tax rate in the world, a $19 trillion debt, out of control open border, racial division, a shrinking middle-class, radical Jihadism is growing despite what the president wants to spoon feed the people. Most people could care less about the closer visual micro optics of the presidency. Most people don't even know who Joe Biden is if you show them a photo the man, stripping and peeling that onion, the guy is a complete failure.

So clearly, something here is wrong with either your perception of reality or your ability to do simply math,

Actually, neither. i think it's liberals that just flat out refuse to see what this guy really is and that is a charlatan. Put aside my personal opinion, everything I said is true and we can go line by line an prove each one how Obama has screwed up on each of these listed facts.

The context of that either went waaaaaaay over your head, or you are being purposefully deceptive in changing the meaning of what he was saying. Neither of which makes you look very good.

Are they also close friends with prominent black political figures like Trump is/was with Al Sharpton (who has explicitly rejected the racist label), Jesse Jackson, Oprah, Don King, Michael Jackson etc. ?

From the AP:

"Donald Trump will embark on the US presidential campaign with a war chest tens of millions of dollars smaller than that of his well-organized rival Hillary Clinton, financial documents filed Monday show.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has a mere $1.3 million, according to reports filed Monday night with the Federal Election Commission.

That sum represents an unprecedented low in recent history for a major presidential campaign.

Clinton’s campaign—backed by big donors—had more than $42 million in the bank as of May 31, its report showed.

Her super PAC (political action committee), known as Priorities USA, has another $52 million, it was reported as saying on Monday."

Will Hillary's huge financial advantage be enough to protect her from an idictment from the FBI criminal investigation of her? Evidence that she committed crimes concerning the nation's security is mounting.

Trump vs Sanders! Yes!

So like his many, many bankruptcies, we have another example of Trump doing whatever he wants and someone else having to pay the cost of it. "How could you let me let you let me be me? Haven't you realized I'm terrible?" - comments

Full stop. Seriously. Perfect comment.

The subject is the Donald J. Trump Campaign of something about hate, but who can tell?

it really is about so many things . . !

Well... what is done is done and a person was fired in a dramatic fashion during an important campaign. Exactly why and how it was done, only the two know. No sense in second guessing, assuming and bring in unrelated issues for discussion.

This was action taken. It is critical for Trump's campaign and for the opposition which includes Clinton as well as the RNC, DNC and the media. It may also affect the convention and the voter turn out for the election.

Without more facts and figures as well as observing exactly how the new appointee and Trump performs within the next few weeks into the convention, it is a matter that may not be worth arguing about. It certainly does not help if personality is brought into the argument.

As for the reason why, Trump will probably disclose what ever he feels and deems appropriate for us to know. Really... he had to make that decision based upon something and the only something we can guess is that he needed someone that could advise him to win the election by first taking the convention which is still not guaranteed because as he says the system definitely appears to be fixed. He has two battle fronts, one with Clinton and the Democrats and the other is his own party that remains divided.
