Unfortunately, I don't think this is the case. Lewandowski will likely never face any real repercussions for his assault on that reporter. Rather, this abrupt dismissal is a business decision. It wouldn't be that surprising - though only two years older than Clinton, men age more quickly, and Trump has always surrounded himself with sycophants; plus, in business, money has a way of buying yourself out of trouble that it does not in politics: all of this leads to the image of an isolated, old man with little clue of what is actually going on.

I think the bigger problem is, most liberals cannot objectively see or even try to realize or take the issues seriously that are front and center stage of deepest concerns with the average American voters. Because they live in a insular liberal vacuum, they refuse to acknowledge the urgency as you were mentioning earlier. Well... what is done is done and a person was fired in a dramatic fashion during an important campaign. Exactly why and how it was done, only the two know. No sense in second guessing, assuming and bring in unrelated issues for discussion.

This was action taken. It is critical for Trump's campaign and for the opposition which includes Clinton as well as the RNC, DNC and the media. It may also affect the convention and the voter turn out for the election.

Without more facts and figures as well as observing exactly how the new appointee and Trump performs within the next few weeks into the convention, it is a matter that may not be worth arguing about. It certainly does not help if personality is brought into the argument.

As for the reason why, Trump will probably disclose what ever he feels and deems appropriate for us to know. Really... he had to make that decision based upon something and the only something we can guess is that he needed someone that could advise him to win the election by first taking the convention which is still not guaranteed because as he says the system definitely appears to be fixed.
