Trump mocks critics: I'll accept election results - if I win

Good humor, good luck Trump.

“The landscape has gotten a lot tougher for Republicans in the House,”

Given how the Republicans in the House have been a reactionary force who've blocked any attempts at trying to address America's many serious problems, the road should be tougher for them.

Their candidate for president is threatening a key part of US democracy, yet many are still singing the lines to GOP uber alles. They're making their own bed.

It reminds me of Al Wilson's song The Snake; the GOP have long been well aware that Trump was a snake.

"No, dig up, stupid!"

The Trump campaign in a nutshell. I like though that he's threatening lawsuits. Because almost every time Trump threatens a lawsuit, he doesn't actually go through with it.

10 ( +17 / -7 )

So, this we know about Trump:

1) My opponent shouldn't be allowed to run

2) If I lose, its rigged. Maybe.

3) If I win, she will go to jail.

Taken together, it is clear that Trump is incapable of protecting and defending the constitution of the United States. Indeed, Trump has shown beyond all doubt he is an enemy to our laws, our traditions and representative government.

No responsible person can vote for Trump. There is no reasonable way to support for this man. Anyone here who does is, in a word, evil.

“A concession isn’t just an exercise in graciousness. It is an act of respect for the will of the American people, a respect that is every American leader’s first responsibility.” McCain said. Well, there's your problem, GOP: Anything requiring respect is just not a part of your man's repertoire.

Given how the Republicans in the House have been a reactionary force who've blocked any attempts at trying to address America's many serious problems, the road should be tougher for them.

And good on them for doing so, especially when they know this guy is going to spend, spend, and spend and NOT compromise on any issue, the GOP would be complete idiots to just fold because Obama is Unwilling to compromise and meet them in the middle.

Their candidate for president is threatening a key part of US democracy, yet many are still singing the lines to GOP uber alles. They're making their own bed.

This is all a bunch of hot air, I'm pretty sure Trump would concede, he might heavily contest it behind the scenes, but he will concede in the end, if he should lose.

It reminds me of Al Wilson's song The Snake; the GOP have long been well aware that Trump was a snake.

When I think of Hillary, I think about that "Dragon" in Game of Thrones

-27 ( +7 / -34 )

In the end, it looks like the Republican candidate in this election has run into the same problem Romney ran into in the last election, and what will likely happen to the next Republican candidate in the next election. The things they have to say, the vitriol they have to spout, to get themselves the Republican nomination, end up being to extreme to gain the vote of the general public. The very act of winning the Republican nomination ends up ensuring they can't win the general election.

The only reason Trump did as well as he did, was that they ran a great smear campaign against Hillary. But the next Democratic candidate will probably be ready for that.

3 ( +10 / -7 )

Flashback yakyak!

1) Gore did not spend months before the election telling his supporters that the election will be rigged.

2) Gore asked for a recount in an extremely close race in Florida, as anyone would. And then conceded graciously when the Supreme Court ruled against the recount.

I know this "Gore didn't concede" meme is the right's attempt to justify the outrageousness of Trump's comments, but it's a completely false equivalent.

24 ( +31 / -7 )

I know this "Gore didn't concede" meme is the right's attempt to justify the outrageousness of Trump's comments, but it's a completely false equivalent.

Yes, because Gore actually didn't concede right away, while Trump has only talked about it. Just words folks. Just words.

Donald Trump pledged Thursday to fully accept the outcome of next month’s presidential election — if he wins.

Hypocrite.

12 ( +18 / -6 )

Stranger

The problem with the Republican party is 2/3 of it voter base supports policies and elects politicians that are simply unacceptable to the American people. 1/3 are racist "Tea Party" types, and another 1/3 are theocratic. Only the last 1/3 are bread and butter 'establishment' conservatives. Y'know, low taxes, free-trade, 'small government."

This tension between the base and the establishment has always existed. Because of Bush disastrous Presidency an the Black Guy, and the total failure of the establishment Long Con [the base never supported the conservatism peddled by the business elite], the tension grew to crises proportions. Thus, Sarah Palin.

And now Trump.

Trump has broken the alliance wide open. The civil war has begun. Either the base will win, and Big Money will leave the party, or Big Money will win, and the base will leave.

Finally, the next Democratic candidate will be HRC. She will crush the next Republican, because the party will either have no money, or no votes.

10 ( +16 / -6 )

Don`t accept it if there is anything fishy going on.

-13 ( +7 / -20 )

In ancient times, there was, in the court, the position of Court Jester, or Court Fool.

Perhaps this should be reinstated and Trump given the position.

He wouldn't need to wear a funny three pointed hat with bells on, his hair would do the job quite adequately.

7 ( +14 / -7 )

There is no reasonable way to support or defend this man. Anyone here who does should be shunned.

18 ( +23 / -5 )

The problem with the Republican party is 2/3 of it voter base supports policies and elects politicians that are simply unacceptable to the American people. 1/3 are racist "Tea Party" types, and another 1/3 are theocratic. Only the last 1/3 are bread and butter 'establishment' conservatives. Y'know, low taxes, free-trade, 'small government."

I think the problem is with that analysis is that the Democrats don't fair that much better, in fact, the Wikileaks show massive collusion and corruption is off the charts. By the way, where did you get the 1/3? How is that polled, what is racist to a Democrat? Keeping minorities on government assistance isn't racist? Good Lord!

This tension between the base and the establishment has always existed. Because of Bush disastrous Presidency an the Black Guy, and the total failure of the establishment Long Con [the base never supported the conservatism peddled by the business elite], the tension grew to crises proportions. Thus, Sarah Palin.

Well, now we know that there is a lot of infighting within the Democratic party despite the illusion that there is perfect harmony and unity from Democrats questioning the smarts of Hillary as a candidate, the influence and collusion between the Democratic party and the media, undermining Bernie Sanders and just on and on antics of Democrats trying to give the false impression that they are a monolithic party, rich!

Finally, the next Democratic candidate will be HRC. She will crush the next Republican, because the party will either have no money, or no votes.

What? LMAO

Gore didn't find a Republic election official saying what the Democratic election commissioner of Manhattan, NYC, said below.

And I don't remember that the Democrats really wanted to get into any kind of examination of how the 2000 election was rigged, after the first outbursts weren't going to turn the election over. They focused on the hanging chads.

Can you guess why? Because the Democrats are the biggest, proven frauds! Why would they want ANY examination of voting fraud?

Last week Hillary and Gore were 'whining' on the stump about the 2000 election, the latest echo of a 16-year-long mass whining by most leading Democrats, including Obama and Kerry. This week they and their media toadies are whining because Trump wants the same right of review they got.

What the Democratic election commissioner was filmed saying recently, not knowing he was on camera:

http://nypost.com/2016/10/11/elections-official-caught-on-video-blasting-de-blasios-id-program/

... Manhattan Democratic representative on the city’s Board of Elections ... (election) Commissioner Alan Schulkin ... "He gave out ID cards, de Blasio. That’s in lieu of a driver’s license, but you can use it for anything ... But they didn’t vet people to see who they really are. Anybody can go in there and say, ‘I am Joe Smith, I want an ID card,’  ... It’s absurd. There is a lot of fraud. Not just voter fraud, all kinds of fraud . . . This is why I get more conservative as I get older. ... The law says you can’t ask for anything. Which they really should be able to do, ... I believe they should be able to do it," ... (The videographer asked point-blank, “You think they should have voter ID in New York?”) ... "Voters? Yeah, they should ask for your ID. I think there is a lot of voter fraud. ... You know, I don’t think it’s too much to ask somebody to show some kind of an ID . . . You go into a building, you have to show them your ID" ... (in some parts of the city) “they bus people around to vote . . . They put them in a bus and go poll site to poll site. ... (Asked which neighborhoods), ... “I don’t want to say.” ... (When the undercover mentions black and Hispanic neighborhoods, Schulkin responded), “Yeah . . . and Chinese, too.” ... "Oh, there’s thousands of absentee ballots . . . I don’t know where they came from," ... (The undercover offered that “people can cover their faces” to shield their identity when voting, which triggered a conversation about burqas.) ... “The Muslims can do that, too. You don’t know who they are,” Schulkin said. ... “I mean, I know everything is done with good intentions, but a lot of bad results.” ...

The GOP is in a tough spot. Their base is too radicalized to move closer to the center, but they will never see the White House again if they continue with more of the same. So some of the leaders need to move the party, but the first group who does will get eaten alive.

Bass4funk: "This is all a bunch of hot air, I'm pretty sure Trump would concede"

You were also sure he was a "lunatic" who wouldn't win the primaries, but now you lick his jackboots. You know full well he's not joking, and you'll support him blindly anyway, finding a way to justify his opposition to democracy, and his complete lack of patriotism.

5 ( +12 / -7 )

Personally I think he was joking and it really makes no difference. He did well during the debate as did Ms. Clinton. Nothing changed my mind however that I think Mr. Trump is not suitable to be our President. Ms. Clinton is more qualified however she did change my mind about voting for her either. I will stick with my "alternative" choice.

Previously I had said the election is over and Ms. Clinton will be our next President. I still feel that way but I am less sure than before.

I think at this point everything hinges on voter turnout. If Democratic turnout is poor for any reason there is a chance Trump could pull this off, which is a scary thought in my opinion.

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

I think Trump's preemptive whining about rigging without evidence is pathetic and dangerous, but I don't know if forcing him to accept results that don't exist yet is quite right either. That said, everyone knows that rigging elections is primarily a Republican trick. They gerrymander and use voter ID laws to invalidate or suppress minority votes. Here's another method I didn't know about:

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Well considering most voting districts are administered by the Rubes, I suspect Trump might be right in saying that their is widespread incompetence and criminal behaviour in the Reb party. He should take the Rebs to court

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Yes, because Gore actually didn't concede right away, while Trump has only talked about it. Just words folks. Just words. soby your logic Trump is using just words to get himself into the white house, so either hes telling the truth and is insulting American democracy by not accepting the results, or he's lying to the American people to get what he wants. Either way hes morally bankrupt!

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

I think rational people and those not heavily medicated stopped reading, and should stop reading, after that sentence.

I think that equates to have the country tuned out the Hillary nonesense, good advice.

That's not how to open a post. It's like stating you are a birther at the beginning of a job interview.

But if the question has some validity to it......

You were also sure he was a "lunatic" who wouldn't win the primaries, but now you lick his jackboots. You know full well he's not joking, and you'll support him blindly anyway, finding a way to justify his opposition to democracy, and his complete lack of patriotism.

You, Jim and Super always laughably go back and try to hit on how I called Trump a lunatic as if it's a crime to change my opinion, I know liberals don't believe in fairness or forgiveness, but I think people are allowed to change their opinion on issues, provided it's genuine and sincere. If turned around, took a bunch of hallucinogenics, got high off my butt and said, I support Hillary, you guys wouldn't criticize me and you know it, but because it's Trump, you guys constantly bring this topic up again and again..for the millionth time, in the beginning, I didn't like Trump, but now, the man makes a lot of sense and I regret that I was wrong about the man. By the way, what Hillary has been doing is THE most unpatriotic act a person or politician could ever do to this country. The woman belongs in Federal prison!

They gerrymander and use voter ID laws to invalidate or suppress minority votes. Here's another method I didn't know about

Nonesense, we need IDs for everything else, this is no exceptions and if Dems are so confident and so sure voter fraud doesn't exist, they wouldn't be beside themselves about this and everyone knows this and knows why they don't want this.

bass4funk: "You, Jim and Super always laughably go back and try to hit on how I called Trump a lunatic as if it's a crime to change my opinion..."

It's not a crime to change your opinion at all, but for a guy who often says, "I never said that" and defends a denier constantly flip-flopping and saying he's not partisan when he is the most partisan poster on here begs some questioning. Plus, I'm sorry, but saying someone is a lunatic and then defending their lunacy isn't "changing your mind", it's simply doing a 180 -- which you will do again in the near future, and which many GOP supporters are doing now, to save their own reputations or a bit of face. You are either unable to make a character judgement, calling him 'lunatic' and then talking about how great he is, or else you are just one of the many blind following him whose opinion is fickle.

3 ( +9 / -6 )

Nonesense, we need IDs for everything else, this is no exceptions and if Dems are so confident and so sure voter fraud doesn't exist, they wouldn't be beside themselves about this and everyone knows this and knows why they don't want this.

Do you really not understand the issue? Or maybe you are just playing with us. Demanding ID proof in a form that is disproportionately unavailable to certain sections of the population will tend to skew the outcome, won't it. Could be deliberate, could be random. But the result is clear. That is why people oppose it.

Nonesense, we need IDs for everything else, this is no exceptions and if Dems are so confident and so sure voter fraud doesn't exist, they wouldn't be beside themselves about this and everyone knows this and knows why they don't want this.

I'm pretty sure I've explained this before, but whatever, it's a slow day... The people that would have problems getting an ID are primarily poor. They often do without the "everything else" you mention. Regardless of how easy you think it is to get a simple ID, that's your reality, not theirs. Who are these poor but eligible voters that get disenfranchised? Statistically, they're minorities, and who do minorities usually vote for? This is the reason why Republicans push for voter ID laws when numerous studies have shown that voter fraud is virtually non-existent.

Someone is going to link the report from the Heritage Foundation (a conservative think tank), but even their results show fraud in numbers that are negligible, mostly dealing with absentee ballots, something that voter IDs would do nothing to solve.

Voter turnout in America isn't great. Most people don't bother voting once let alone multiple times. The real rigging that goes on is scrubbing eligible voters under the guise of preventing voter fraud... a Republican tactic. Trump is running in the wrong party to be worried about rigging, unless he's afraid his own party is going to sabotage him. Even in that case, Republicans have experience in scrubbing minority votes. I don't know if they know how to pinpoint the deplorable vote.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

Remember the first debate?

Trump was asked this very question and he stated that he WOULD accept if Hillary won the election.

Now he shows his true colors.

Well the jokes on you Trump come November 8th, when we will no longer have to dread seeing you campaign for the presidency. Ever.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

This isn`t even funny... :(

Here is what Hillary people do;

You criticize Trump by using physical insults, infitile antonyms or homonyms, or use borrowed takling points

You group everyone into a category i.e. Dems, Repubs, left, right, man, woman, gay, LBGT, black, hispanic, white, etc.

Repeat daily news pudits which have given up entirely on jounralism which is now Adolf style propaganda (And you go allong with it, somehow in 2016?)

NEVER EVER TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT HILLARY!

Condemn Trump for really really minor offences compared to the MOUNTAIN! of corruption and crimes putrid Clinton!

MrBum: The real rigging that goes on is scrubbing eligible voters under the guise of preventing voter fraud... a Republican tactic

And that's just one part of it. The new laws are shortening registrations times, closing polling places, eliminating education, shortening hours, lots of things. None of those things are fraud prevention; they all create intentional hurdles that every single study says would stop more good people from voting than bad.

Despite research and despite judges throwing out these laws left and right and using very specific language questioning the motives of Republicans, they will still look you in the eye and say its all about stopping voter fraud. Its a sickness.

If the GOP were serious about identity issues then they would immediately stop voting by mail. No one checks my ID when I fill out my ballot and put it in the mail. Now ask yourself why the GOP doesn't do that.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

"You, Jim and Super always laughably go back and try to hit on how I called Trump a lunatic"

If memory serves, you called Trump supporters a lunatic fringe while supporting a candidate who thought Obama was going to declare martial law and the pyramids were stocked with grain.

You still haven't explained what made you change your mind about Trump supporters being a lunatic fringe.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

What I don't understand is: does Trump represent the serious decline of America and American culture over the past few decades, or has America always been like this, only now with the internet and 24 hour TV, we have come to know this?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Then if you were an American citizen, you most definitely couldn't vote for Hillary if that's the case.

The people that would have problems getting an ID are primarily poor.

So you're telling me, poor people can get an EBT card, go to the grocery and purchase food, go to the doctor to get a physical, go to the DMV to renew their license, but they have No way to gain access to an ID card? I'm surprised you even made an effort to even try to justify that laughable statement.

They often do without the "everything else" you mention. Regardless of how easy you think it is to get a simple ID, that's your reality, not theirs. Who are these poor but eligible voters that get disenfranchised? Statistically, they're minorities, and who do minorities usually vote for?

I lived in a minority community when I was younger, sorry, I'm not buying that snake oil line for a second.

This is the reason why Republicans push for voter ID laws when numerous studies have shown that voter fraud is virtually non-existent.

So if that's the case, everyone, even the poor should have an ID, you have it for everything else, this would be the same thing and if some of the elderly can't make it, they can send it to them via the mail.

Someone is going to link the report from the Heritage Foundation (a conservative think tank), but even their results show fraud in numbers that are negligible, mostly dealing with absentee ballots, something that voter IDs would do nothing to solve.

Nothing is 100% fool proof, but It would greatly cut down and prevent a lot of voter fraud from happening

Voter turnout in America isn't great. Most people don't bother voting once let alone multiple times.

But that's not the case in 1996 and Penn, particularly in Philly is so famous a politically one of the most corrupt cities in the union historically speaking.

The real rigging that goes on is scrubbing eligible voters under the guise of preventing voter fraud... a Republican tactic.

You mean preventing voters from going in twice or having dead people vote? Yeah, in that case they are blocking that from happening.

Trump is running in the wrong party to be worried about rigging, unless he's afraid his own party is going to sabotage him. Even in that case, Republicans have experience in scrubbing minority votes. I don't know if they know how to pinpoint the deplorable vote.

Jeffery Dahmer,

HERE'S MY LIST OF WHY AMERICA SHOULD BE HOSTING AN INTERVENTION FOR CORE TRUMP SUPPORTERS (the all-caps were your idea. I wanted to stay true to the spirit of your frenetic wild-eyed urgency):

Benghazi; Committing Perjury or Lying Under Oath.

Absolutely zero evidence of this after 13 Republican-led investigations. Fact vs. opinion: Yeah, it's a "thing."

Emails a) Mixing personal and government emails. b) Endangering state and national security secrets. c) Obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence.

Professional career FBI investigators disagree with your amateur, unprofessional opinion. Fact vs. opinion: Yeah, it's a "thing."

3.Selling state secrets to other countries AKA weapon technology to China.

Ah, yes. The claim made by former US Representative Bob Barr, advisor to Haiti dictator Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier? Right. Fact vs. opinion: Yeah, it's a "thing."

Also, it bears noting, Bill isn't running for president.

Bill the rapist

Fact vs. opinion: Yeah, it's a "thing." Oh, yeah. And Bill isn't running for president.

Hillary the cover up agent.

Fact vs. opinion: Yeah, it's a "thing."

Pretending / lying about being under gun fire in Bosnia.

And she got caught out on it, didn't she? How about the whoppers Trump regularly spews?

NAFTA

Democrats were spilt on it. Republicans overwhelmingly supported it. Oh, yeah. And it was during the Bill's administration.

The US military, is also apparently not especially thrilled to be discussing in precise detail what it takes to launch nuclear weapons. I caught a bit of CNN Newroom today and the CNN Pentagon Correspondent Barbara Starr reported that Clinton’s statement about the time it takes to launch nuclear weapons is “extremely classified,” Even while there is a lot of information in the open source on the Internet, out there for the public on what the process is for launching nuclear weapons it is still top secret and govt. officials are not supposed to talk about it.

Two More Ways Hillary Clinton Committed Perjury at Benghazi Committee - 6 Jul 2016

Hillary Clinton appears to have perjured herself before the House Select Committee on Benghazi in at least three ways: first, by stating that she had turned over “all my work related emails” from her private email server to the government; second, by insisting there was “nothing marked classified on my e-mails”; and third, by telling the committee that her attorneys “went through every single e-mail.” FBI director James Comey’s statement Tuesday suggests none of those statements were true. ...

More FBI agents speak out, say Comey purposely derailed Hillary email scandal - October 18, 2016 ... A shocking new report reveals several FBI agents say FBI Director James Comey personally stood in the way of prosecuting Hillary Clinton for her clear violations of our national security laws. ... A series of interviews conducted with two federal agents shows a deep frustration with Comey’s decision not to recommend to the Department of Justice to indict Hillary over her email scandal, according to an exclusive by the Daily Caller’s Kerry Pickett. ... “This is a textbook case where a grand jury should have been convened, but was not. That is appalling,” an FBI special agent who has worked public corruption and criminal cases said. “We talk about it in the office and don’t know how Comey can keep going.” ... One surprising detail emerged that shows how little interest Comey had in actually investigating Hillary: the FBI didn’t even bother searching Hillary’s house for evidence. ... “We didn’t search their house. We always search the house. The search should not just have been for private electronics, which contained classified material, but even for printouts of such material,” the agent said. ... Another agent told the interviewer, “The idea that [the Clinton email case] didn’t go to a grand jury is ridiculous.”

Bass,

We really don't need a step by step chronological view of you trying to make the excuse for Hillary's corruption. The Wikileaks told us a lot of what we have suspected for years about Hillary and the DNC, but thanks for trying anyway.

You're absolutely right. What we do need is a step-by-step presentation of actionable facts, proof, and evidence to support the above list of bull puckey that you and other Trump acolytes continue to cling to out of a desperate, sad sort of willful ignorance.

Your candidate is a fraud and a bald-faced liar. Anyone who can stare the camera in the eye and claim that he never suggested to his 2 million Twitter followers to look for a sex tape of a beauty queen -- despite 2 million followers getting that very tweet, is a moral black hole.

The biggest argument the Right has against Clinton is that she's so damned good at being a Centrist Republican, but you can't use it because it would undermine your very existence.

And don't even attempt to place yourself in any sort of camp of "independent-minded reformist unconcerned with the plight of the Republican Party." You're no independent and you sure as hell are not interesting in any sort of meaningful reform that would actually benefit the country. Otherwise, you wouldn't support a candidate so clearly willing to, as John Oliver astutely points out, wipe his behind with the constitution.

Clinton's going to be president, and while the rest of the country is moving on to the business of America, you and your pals can lick your wounds and try to figure out how a campaign of lies and misinformation backfired so epically against you and Trump the Destroyer.

Have fun with that.

And another thing. Trump got this nomination because of the nature of popular media: there's lots of people who love spectacle. And Trump delivered. He's a clown. He didn't have to invest, and he didn't have to persuade. All he had to do was use his well-established clout as an annoying personality to bring on board people who are hungry for an anti-establishment savior.

Ok, sex is important for liberals, got it! I mean, it's been 30 years, so how do you feel if Bill is back in the White House, there was a recent report that he was hitting on a 15 year old a few years ago. I think this is a. Dry important issue. If so how about the issues that matter for once? By the way, how do you feel about Democrats inciting riots purposely at Trump rallies in order to get a rise out of Trump and make conservatives bad. Scott Foval and Robert Creamer trying their best to get heads busted, paying people, setting them up in hotels, with whatever they need, looking for anyone willing to cause a ruckus at a Trump rally. But you ok with the Democrats using Nazi brown shirt tactics?

Clinton's going to be president, and while the rest of the country is moving on to the business of America, you and your pals can lick your wounds and try to figure out how a campaign of lies and misinformation backfired so epically against you and Trump the Destroyer.

Actually, no one is sure, but one thing we can say without a doubt, Hillary making inroads is not because she's a good candidate, she's just better at the political game and lies she's so accustomed to, it's in her DNA, she is a mast at lying, calm, cool and collected, doesn't waver, bend or flinch. With millions spend on negative ads and using the greatest smear tactics known in the modern era of politics and targeting particularly women, Hillary has managed to use fear, bribery and bully tactics to drive home the narrative, she can't go on the issues, because she's knows the majority of Americanswould reject her policies, now to be fair, Trump has helped her by saying things he shouldn't have, but with the media in her pocket, she does have a strong advantage since the majority of them are dishonest and bias, partisans straight to the core. So if she wins, it's (The thousands of Wikileaks that are out have finally confirmed all of this) because she's a better candidate, she's a flawed candidate that knows the game better.

While on the campaign trail, Clinton has postured as a “progressive,” determined to hold Wall Street’s feet to the fire. But in her speeches to Goldman Sachs, she made clear her unconditional defense of the banks and financial houses. Under conditions of popular outrage against the bankers and their role in dragging millions into crisis in the financial meltdown of 2008, Clinton gave speeches praising the Wall Street financiers and insisting that they were best equipped to regulate themselves. She apologized to them for supporting the toothless Dodd-Frank financial regulatory law, saying that it had to be enacted for “political reasons.”

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Turbostat,

So you can't address the point, and so engage in calumny against the source ...

Oh, I'm more than able to address the point. The article in question is written by a Joel B. Pollak, author and editor "at large" (whatever the hell that means) for Breitbart.

I know you really hoped the article would stand as some sort of smoking gun, but sadly -- and it embarasses me a bit to have to explain something so simple to a presumed adult -- it's not a news item. Rather, it's an editorial. If the distinction is lost on you, let me spell it out: News relies on facts and evidence. Proof. Editorials, on the other hand, are firmly based on opinion. Sure, there are elements of something factual having happened in order to spark the interest necessary to write the editorial in the first place. But the conclusion of an editorial is purely opinion. And that's precisely what Mr. Pollak's piece is: Opinion.

Now, as a relatively well-educated mature adult, I'm actually able to look at what he wrote and compare his premise with the results of 13 SEPARATE REPUBLICAN-LED INVESTIGATIONS that were unable to discover this perjury Mr. Pollak somehow feels he's far more clever at uncovering. Maybe if Mr. Pollak had spent less time bullying coworkers who were assaulted by Trump campaign asshat Corey Lewandowski, and instead devoted his excess energies towards comprehending how those investigations effectively sink his highly wishful conclusion about what Hillary did or didn't do with regard to Banghazi, you and I could spend our time on better pursuits than arguing this utterly feeble, lame, and toothless point of yours.

I don't address conjecture as any more than what it is. And the Benghazi reports more than laid to rest even the most insignificant conspiracy theories you still to this very day continue to peddle in an almost Pavlovian fashion.

Does this clear things up enought for you?
