Meanwhile, back in the neighborhood, China is claiming the launching is the USA's fault. Obviously, China doesn't accept any responsibility for creating and supporting the regime.

I believe China's claim is that the U.S. and South Korea refuse to talk directly to North Korea, which is causing this provocation. China is claiming they are fully implementing requirements set forth by the U.N. security council.

Something needs to be done about this before Kim's regime has the ability to deliver either a direct nuclear strike or an EMP strike, which could be worse.

Like it or not, North Korea is a sovereign nation. China makes the point that one reason for the launch is the refusal of the U.S. and South Korea to talk to North Korea. While I do not agree with China's statement that this is the "root cause" of the launches, I think the U.S. and South Korea can speak to North Korea directly and strongly condemn this action and see if there is a way to move forward. At this point it is obvious that absolutely nothing has been accomplished by not having any dialogue at all.

A war with North Korea would be a disaster for the Korean peninsula.

Trump will deal with them very strongly. Or he'll just ignore it. Or maybe something in the middle.

Who knows.

He's going to deal with them strongly. I bet he sues. SEE YOU IN COURT!

Whatever - at least the Boy General can observe how presidential decision-making has devolved into photo ops at Mar-a-Lago. Seriously - letting "some dude" take photographs with the man reputedly charged with carrying the "football" (that bag that contains the nuclear codes)?

For all his talk of security, Trump has dropped the ball repeatedly in less than a month. First Flynn, now this.

Well of course the GOP is going to jump all over that. And Trump's use of a private phone, too. Otherwise it would just expose them as hypocrites who yell outrage when it suits them.

Naw, we should be ok, Trump is the kind of guy that doesn't like to lose and doesn't like to take crap and keeps his promises, like the ban that's being stupidly challenged, he'll drop the ball alright, right on head of China. He's not going to punk out like president 44.

You're really sure about that, are you?

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jan/15/china-warns-trump-that-taiwan-policy-is-non-negotiable

“Everything is under negotiation, including ‘One China’,” Trump said, referring to the US’s longstanding diplomatic decision not to challenge Beijing’s claim that Taiwan, an independently and democratically-ruled island, is part of its territory.

But what do we have here:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/feb/10/donald-trump-agrees-support-one-china-policy-phone-call-xi-jinping

“President Trump agreed, at the request of President Xi, to honor our ‘One China’ policy,” the White House said, referring to a diplomatic understanding by which Washington does not challenge China’s claim over Taiwan, a democratically ruled island that Beijing considers a breakaway province.

"At the request of President Xi." Really showing them all who's boss, isn't he?

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday vowed to “deal with” North Korea, calling it “a big, big problem” without mentioning the

big words

Yeah, moar action. I don't care if he knows what he's talking about! Just blow stuff up, yeah!

Oh, Obama did that daily with his drone strikes, you guys on the left never complained then.

Give me one apology. You've made this claim multiply times, give an example.

I can do better, I can go over the weeks where everything he has said is a lie. The point is a lie is a lie and Trump is not immune from getting caught on them.

Trump really needs to get on North Korea BIGLY! He won't stand idly by while he's being grilled for the whole Flynn and Russia thing. He needs to distract people from that. North Korea it is.
