Burning Bush: Simply visiting a porn site can result in the Malware entering your system, that doesn't mean that Putin himself is attacking your PC.

MSM staple outlet WaPo claimed yesterday“Russian hackers penetrated U.S. electricity grid through a utility in Vermont, officials say” but turns out they jumped the gun on the story without asking the utility, who later said it was one hacked laptop, not connected to the grid.

The stated justification for claiming 'Putin attacking your PC' so far has been 'Putin is hands-on and wants to control everything therefore he must be controlling this as well.' Not any direct evidence.

Until now! With this leaked footage we can confidently claim VIDEO evidence of Putin's involvement!!!:

Obama is acting like a petulant child but soon he'll be taking his Hawaii vacations on his own time!

Totally agree. The case of the Ukraine utility grid hack was probably caused by some 400-pound guy living with his parents and randomly aimed. There is nothing to worry about. Best not to worry about such things, particularly as the CIA provided info that was manipulated by the Bush administration 15 years ago. As our new uberchief has said, "We ought to get along with our lives" - and stop thinking about such trivialities. https://www.wired.com/2016/03/inside-cunning-unprecedented-hack-ukraines-power-grid/

Here we go again and just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.

I think that might be a wise choice.

Putin is playing Trump and Trump, the fool, doesn't even realize it. God help the United States of America.

Trump's praise of Putin could signal a new day for U.S. policy

Could? Could?!

Let's put this in perspective: For the last 8 years the American right has been trying to make the idea stick that Obama is somehow un-American. They started with overt racism- he's black and he's got a foreign-sounding name ("Hussein? OMG that's a name that guy in Iraq has!") so he must not be a real American. Trump led the charge on birtherism coming out of that.

When that didn't work because much as the right would like to disbelieve, you can be non-white and have a non-WASPy name and still be American, the right tried to go after his fame. Europeans love him, and so you got the sense from many pundits on the right that this is what proved he wasn't American. Epithets like "the anointed one" came out of the mouths of cynical FOX talking heads and the uninformed posters who mimic them to try and undermine Obama's credibility.

When that didn't work, they finally went after his policies, albeit in a uninformed tinfoil-hat conspiracy sort of way. Even though a clear argument was made by the Obama administration for how things like engaging with Iran and Cuba were good for the American people, somehow if Obama was doing something that helped others that must mean he was out to destroy us.

So for 8 years we've had to listen to the paranoid, hateful, and downright bigoted arguments that outgoing President Obama puts other people ahead of America. And yet it's not even been 8 weeks since Trump's election and we're watching him explicitly support a foreign leader over the American people, and all the people who spent all those 8 years braying about the doom of Obama don't have a single cross word to say about it. It really lets you see just what their feigned patriotism really is.

@Burning Bush"The malware was developed in Russia (probably by an amateur hacker) and it is now widely available on a myriad of websites."

This Conspiracy Theory belongs to the same basket as Mars Attacks! movie.

Trump is forming a close, friendly relationship with Putin. That's just the way it's going to be.

Obama did with Castro and Raul and now, next year, I'm taking a trip there. Friendship has its privileges!

@bass4funk"......now, next year, I'm taking a trip there. Friendship has its privileges!"

Well said !

Not resorting to childish tit for tat retaliation seems sensible to me. Whether Mr. Trump's praise has a motive behind it beyond that is another question. Whether Mr. Putin didn't resort to childish tit for tat relation for reasons other than it was sensible is also another question.

Trump is being nice to Putin because he doesn't want him to blow the whistle on all Trump's dodgy business dealings with Russia. Putin has Trump by the short and curlies.

Yup. Party before country - my party right or wrong - is the dogma of these overzealous Republicans. Play down a foreign power interfering with their democracy? Sure, because Trump's making America great again.

Trump is the President-elect DESPITE the NeoCons that opposed him. Please get your facts straight.
