The Russians should be more concerned with keeping their own planes in the sky.

But i herd U.S Gens say they would destroy Russian S-400 missiles before they even seen U.S jet's?

So is America not that advanced? Russia seems to think so, but is using there nuclear weapons as back up.

Russia has good jamming weapons and shut's down U.S warships easy.

Strategy is always the key in winning an = war. Even so not =, strategy wins wars.......Like in Iraq, beaten by the terrorist.

For U.S., it's been over 15 years in war in middle east. U.S. should be more concerned with minding their own business.

If I was a pilot, I'd be scared flying around unfriendly S-300s or S-400s. Nowadays, the Clinton campaign just likes to point at Russia for everything, as if the Russians were the ones who forced the Clintons to accept all that money for donors around the world.... but nooo, blame Russia for letting the world know that it happened, because if they didn't leak it, then it would have never happened!

Thanks WikkiLeaks!

Might as well call it Putinleaks these days.

Russia's stooge and orange bugle fiend Donald J Trump would do Russia's bidding on every level. Right now he's already caving in on Syria blighting about WW3. Hillary at least has the balls to take on the Russian gangsters.

This is what I warned about. The war-monger Clinton is determined to destroy Syria the way she destroyed Libya (remember that disaster also began with no-fly zones). Only this time Russia is involved, so she is playing with nuclear war.

Remember that in the 3rd debate, she was asked if she would actually shoot down Russian airplanes, and refused to answer the question, choosing to deflect instead.

Scary!

It's funny to hear all the establishment liberals spouting Cold War era Russian fear-mongering. They sound exactly like neoconservatives, which shouldn't be too surprising given that they're neoliberals themselves. Ukraine? An unconsitutional mob overthrow of a democratically elected leader, backed by the US. Syria? The US backed the rebels with equipment and training, and then many of them turned out to be worse than Assad (anyone remember the rebel soldier that tore out and ate the heart of a Syrian soldier?). Were it not for the US backing the Syrian rebels, ISIS would have had far less breathing room as well. Even the war in Libya, which has created a failed state and millions of refugees, was done with the Russians protesting. Compared to these actions that have directly cost thousands of lives and created millions of refugees, Russian hacking some DNC email servers (if they were truly behind the hacks) seems downright Lilliputian. The irony in all this is that the Russians have simply been acting under realpolitik this entire time, yet despite this they come off looking so much better than the US that justifies its actions under the guise noble ideals.

As opposed to Trump's proposed appeasement of the Russian bear?

Yeah I agree it's kinda funny to hear you guys too.

But don't worry, President Clinton will stand up to Putin. The one major failure of Obama's tenure.

The only thing Russians are good at shooting down are slow and defenseless civilian airliners filled with innocent passengers.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Madverts, the relentless fighter with "the Russian threat", is in action again! lol

President Clinton will stand up to Putin

As far as I can see from videos on Youtube, sometimes she has problems with just standing at all.

All right, suppose she is elected president. What can she do "to stand up to Putin"? Say "meet our demands, or we'll bomb you"? For more then a decade the US can not win wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and she'll open the third front? Very frightening outlook - for the US.

Yeah, and stand behind Saudi Arabia.

The only thing some people are good at is repeating the same old propaganda lie again and again.

FizzBitOCT. 26, 2016 - 05:35PM JST Yeah, and stand behind Saudi Arabia.

So once again you're supporting warmonger and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in this conflict?

So once again you're supporting warmonger and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in this conflict?

Every sober and sane adult should support Putin (he really fights with jihadists), not the warmonger (remember the agression against Libya?) and the bribetaker Killary, who is on payroll of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, two shining paragons of democracy.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Nah! Count your posts about Putin and you'll see who is troll.

And nice to see that you have nothing to say on the substance.

On the other hand the US might shoot down a Russian plane in the no-fly zone.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

This is no small matter. It may trigger a war with Russia and Iran with major global adverse implications and lost of millions of lives. Trump is right in this matter and Hillary is off course. The risk/reward is so poor, yet Hillary is focusing on removing Assad, President of a sovereign nation and not ISIS, the terrorist group. Look at the removal of Saddam, Mubarak, Gaddafi and what happened to millions of families and people killed, made homeless, etc. This is the so called benefits of the great liberation from Arab Spring that the western propaganda and liberals had been clamoring? Where have all the flowers gone? When will we ever learn?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

The whole thing is based on IF.

Russia might/could shoot down a US plane. Yup. The US might/could shoot down a Russian plane. Yup. But it's just theory as there has never been consensus over setting one up.

What would be the aim of a no-fly zone? To stop Syrian planes flying over Syria? To stop Russian planes, backing the Syrian regime? Certainly not to stop IS, or the Kurds. Turkey? NATO jets? Saudi Arabian, Jordanian, Arab League jets? Or do our politicians in desperation want to try something, anything different as it's such a mess there now?

What part of "no-fly" do the Americans not understand?

Oh they understand but only if its for others.
