When I was competing in LA, University gym offices were converted to sleeping areas for athletes . . . by removing furniture and replacing with metal bunk beds on wheels . . . the gym offices had windows which helped with security (being able to look in) as a winner, I had an office to myself . . . while it seems pretty basic, athletes at least had free food, top quality, from the cafeteria . . . .

If the Olympic officials wish to cut costs . . . consider local University facilities, portable tables, chairs, etc. . . . (Gold - World Invitational Track & Field, Pole Vault, 1980, Los Angeles).

Anything which will save energy, preserve and be beneficial to the Earth's atmosphere, I am for. Daylight savings time is one.

These types of products should have their production stopped immediately. I know lithium batteries cause a lot of heat . . . we don't buy them anymore.

As China and Japan currently have large dependencies on trade with the United States, it is important that they take this time toward working on making their own countries more environmentally, economically sustainable for the future.

Many of the protesters seem to be women -- single women without families. I think the new president will know to support families ahead of special interest groups.

While the Constitution appears as an exemplary model for government, there appears to be much corruption within the actual system . . . . there are many gratuitous 'set asides' for the many descendants of the previous high elected; for others there is an over dependence on the need for military service.

Putting women in the labor force may hurt society in the long run . . . mothers would likely be more neglectful of their parental duties, resulting poor upbringing of youth.
There are many countries where there are large populations of Japanese descents may be unemployed and, who may be very interested in working in Japan . . . Brazil, Mexico, U. S. and elsewhere . . . perhaps these populations are worth recruiting.

Japan should continue its quest for renewable energy . . . Perhaps Japan's desert region as a good place for solar panel installation, also rooftops of buildings . . . . Japan is windy in many areas, and should think about using windmills for producing electricity (popular in California) . . . .
