上皇is the traditional title for an emperor that had abdicated. You don't need to make a new title when there is one already.

The Izumo class is too small to become a useful fixed wing carrier and ski jump can only launch a VSTOL type with limited amount of sortie it's usefulness is limited.

Japan can easily construct a full fledged fixed wing carrier with EMAL if we wanted to but it is going to cost a heap of money to operate it at the ship's full potential. At the moment Japan doesn't require that kind of capability and the Izumo class is more useful at their present status as a heli carrier which is a real work horse as a sub hunter/killer.

Kind of surprised me as well since it is a name of one of the Carriers within the CBG that attacked Pearl Harbor.

A 15 degree difference in Longitude equates to an hour difference.

Bejing is E116.17, Tokyo is located at E139.46, Akashi or Japan Standard Time Meridian is 135°0' 11.1"E which is more than 15 degrees. As for two time zones Naha is E127.42 while Kushiro is located E144.23 neither is 15 degrees away from the JSTM so Japan does not need two.

These days you can cultivate skin cells and be applied through 3D printers so you don't need a whole sheet of skin. Just cultivate the skin in a petri dish.

Or we could adopt the time keeping of the past where a day is always twelve hours and the length of an hour varies based on sunrise and sunset in which it was always 6 o'clock at sunrise and always 6 at sunset regardless of the calendar.

So essentially what Tesla released a few months back?

Tesla's solar panels are manufactured by Panasonic. Tesla just provides the nice covering.

Basically PRC is trying to stop import but afraid of WTO based retaliation.

The reason why they want to stop import is to reduce the flow of foreign currency out of the country.

Bottom line it's their last ditch effort to stop the collapse of their economy.

The bad side is when you are staying at one of those places when another guest snores.

You can basically hear it through out the facility.

People who have solar panels installed are now using the energy then feeding it back into the grid by installing batteries. These batteries are beneficial in two folds, it offsets peak energy needs and can be used as emergency back-ups in case of a black out.

No, it's only THIS Emperor, any and all SHOULD have the same opportunity. Abe just does not want to face the possibility of having to deal with the archaic laws regarding succession, hence them coming up with this "one-time" agreement.

Abe would not be in office or may not be alive when the next emperor starts considering abdication. As for "Archaic" law, since it is written within the constitution stating that the Emperor is the symbol of Japan stipulated on article one, any and all PM will not want to challenge it since they will actually have to hold a nation wide referendum to change such a major issue.

The bottom line Abe could be impeached if he goes over the line creating a law that defies challenges the constitution in changing the status quo the position of the Emperor.

Oh give us a break after expansion when the Major league added more teams the quality of players had gone down several notches to fill in those teams. This can be easily be proven by seeing all those bonehead mistakes that high school player participating Koshien would not make.

JS Izumo is not sailing close to PRC's borders, not by a hundred nautical miles. PRC's statement is lame because it's the same old saber rattling they been doing from the start and their said negotiation is not negotiating at all since their starting point is the nine dash line is PRC territory which no nation accepts.
