When first coming here it was a little off putting but now I wear a mask when I have a cold out of respect for others or when the air is really dry.
"...was some sort of terrorist operation in place" shows the level of paranoia and fear is the world today. The entire planet is becoming so xenophobic and THAT is the scariest and saddest thing ever since the war on terror started. People are bringing the terror to themselves through fear.

@JeffLee There weapons all around you. To have access to weapons all someone needs to do is go to the kitchen. Remember the soldier in UK killed with meat cleavers in 2013? Most western homes have one of those so anyone has weapons.

Enforce the law at pedestrian crossing. Cars almost never stop unless I just walk out in front, to which strong eyeballs of "What are you doing?". Pedestrians have right of way!! Fine cars not stopping and stop pedestrians WAITING for a break in the traffic.

Even to be taken with a grain of salt, its still undeniable the depth of the societal and mental health problems in this country. Need to face up to it. Youre not a superior race, youre still only human.

IF need to label them, "mixed" seems fine to me.
"Half" is another example of subtle, sometimes unwilling, racism. Xenophobic.

Why is someone not in jail for this?
lesenfantMar. 15, 2017 - 10:10AM JST
Why are they doing this? It is a real question. Someone please answer it.
The land cannot be used again for centuries or more, even if the fuel is removed. They don't even know what to do with the contaminated water that is piling up and are just gonna "figure it out later". Chernobyl has had 30 years to try to remove the fuel and hasn't even bothered because it is an impossible task.
Just concrete it.
Sure it will be an eye sore but that's what happens when you take one of the most dangerous substances on Earth for granted.

Need to get my eyes checked... I'm reading this as THREE years. Makes you wonder, which is a worse human being; a man who stupidly and neglectfully kills a child or the scum who only gives that killer 1095 days in prison. I say the latter. Put them both in prison for much longer.

Always like to "be safe" in the face that a missile can be shot down before it reaches its target but then I think about last year when NK announced they were testing a missile. Japan said we are ready... and they didnt even know a missile had been fired. It was on cnn before they knew about it. Gulp.

Plans shouldve been made in the past year to help them relocate. Yes, cut the foreign aid and help those in your own country that need you Abe. And finally, anyone who bullies someone due to relocation for this (man made) disaster should be jailed.

Didnt know about it until I left the office at 10pm when the lights went out and my coworker mentioned it.. Was totally "Huh?". Laughed inside because neither of my companies said anything about it and it wont change a single thing.
